I loved the rustic accommodations and being able to hear the wild animals all around us while still feeling safe and having the luxuries like hot water and a comfortable bed. The WiFi was spotty but what do you expect in the middle of a safari?!
It is the real thing for a respectable price. I was able to get a reservation for a quick unexpected business trip stop over. uick and friendly with COLD beer. I was truely a happy camper. The little plunge pool needs some fresh make up. I am sure it is on the cards
I stayed with this hotel with a group tour, contiki, and 7 people had money stolen while we were out on safari. The company took no responsibility for this. They have you return your keys before you leave so all employees could have access. There are no safes. Do not leave any cash in the rooms unlocked at any time. It was believed to be an inside job. Over $2k stolen between everyone over the course of 2 days.
There are no doors or curtains in showers and toilets so if you are sharing with someone can be a bit awkward. Wifi is available in the dining area but not in the chalets. There were lots of ants, spiders in our chalet bathroom. Breakfast was nice and staff were helpful. Manyeleti game reserve had heaps of animals. there are mosquito nets so use them.
Camping in well equiped tents direclty next to the Manyaleti game reserve. Everything is available in the tents: shower, toilet, bed, couches, enough sockets,... You can hear the sounds of nature at night. Central area with pool, bar and boma. Friendly and helpful staff, nice welcome. Possibility to do a bush walk or game drive.
