Wow what an awesome experience from start to finish. On arrival we were greeted by Leon and the team and felt welcome from the very start. Accommodation was lovely and comfortable. Meals were very tasty and enjoyable. Game drives were incredible and saw the big 5 and lots more. I have stayed in many private reserves but this one is by far my favourite and will definitely return. Thank you Leon for going above and beyond to make such incredible memories which will be treasured. Robbie & Shireen

Game drives as good as they get, with an outstanding guide/tracker team (Mpho and Reply), for a lot less than you'd pay in a lodge - in the Manyeleti Game Reserve section of the Greater Kruger Park. This means there is no fence between the park and the reserve, so the wildlife is free to migrate. Leon, the owner / manager, is a bundle of laughs and information, great with his night sky constellations, great with kids, who by the way are allowed on the drives.

Stayed for 3D/2N and had an amazing safari experience with Distinctly Africa. Our guide and tracker (Mpho and Reply) were amazing - they found us every animal we wanted to see, even some rare ones like wild dogs!. We got up close and personal with each of the animals, and ended up with stunning pictures. The safari vehicles were comfortable and were able to get through any terrain. Amurula in the coffee was a special treat. The accommodations were adequate.; Beds, AC, and plumbing in the middle of the bush! The staff went above and beyond to attend to any need we had, and we had delicious meals throughout our stay. Wifi is available in the common area (outdoors) but does not reach to the rooms. Would return again and recommend to friends

Hi Lindsey I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. This is really a very special place and we are very lucky to live and work here. We usually don't show our guests all the animals. especially not wild dogs otherwise they wont come back:) Actually, we try our best to show everything that is on offer in the reserve, unfortunately, as they are wild animals it doesn't always work out that way. I'm really pleased you saw everything. Please post some of your amazing pics here, it helps others see what you did. We look forward to welcoming you, your family and friends back soon. All the best from Leon and the team.

Staff were all incredibly friendly, respectful and went above & beyond to ensure we had a warm and welcoming stay, including surprising us for our birthdays. Our guide and tracker were both super experienced and we saw the big 5 (& more) within the first 2 days. We were very well fed throughout our stay (food was also 10/10 quality). Our chalets were super clean and we'll equipped which made for a comfortable stay. The owner/staff of this tour contribute to the conservation of the wild African animals at the park. This tour is what I'll recommend all my family and friends who visit South Africa - I can't say enough how amazing this safari tour was. It was all so surreal.

Away from mass tourism, in a quiet part of the KNP, we discovered this gem called Distinctly Africa Manyeleti Camp. Friendly staff, highly skilled trackers and amazing sightings (which are by no means a guarantee) of leopard, hyena and other dangerous game. Dinner is served at the campfire, overlooking the plains from a beautiful high point. Well equipped and comfortable game viewers. We will be back!
