This was the highlight of our South Africa trip and my only regret is not staying longer. Our guide (Paul) and tracker (Ranios) were AMAZING and we saw everything animal we'd hoped to see within 24 hours of being there. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable, and I can't believe the wide variety of food choices for being in...

Words can not explain how amazing our trip to "Lion Sands" was. From the minute we were met by our Ranger (Riann) at Skukura Airport to the time he dropped us off 4 days later. Every minute in this beautiful place was magical. - Every member of staff we met were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and made us feel so welcome....

What a way to finish a 25 day tour of SA. The lodge, staff, food, service and safari exceeded our expectations. Top class of mid- high end facility. Great value compared to what others were quoting. Rooms were well kept with maid service 3 times a day. Our guide was awesome. We saw the big 5 almost every day.

The whole experience was amazing. From the atmosphere of the Lodge to the thoughtfulness and attention to detail exhibited by all of the staff, the stay itself was perfect, I could not fault it. The game drives were so informative and exciting they can only be described as addictive. Our field guide and tracker (Kelly and Noel) were warm, friendly...

I traveled in October 2014, and have seen current reviews to see that Lion Sands is still providing the wow factors to its guests. Accomodations and service are beautiful. Great game drives, with a chance to see the big five, including the elusive leopards. I am giving this a 4 star, which reflects on me more than Lion Sands. Lion...

I've had the opportunity to visit many camps. As with most of the Moore properties this ranks high in my opinion. Their service, rooms, food and guiding is excellent. I felt very comfortable traveling on my own.

When we walked into the resort we were taken aback by it's beautiful design and friendly staff that are there for your every need. The guides, trackers, wait staff, room attendants and bar staff were over the top incredible. I would come back here in a heartbeat and would highly encourage anyone interested in staying in Africa for a safari...

We expected to have pleasant and comfortable accommodations for our first safari experience, but were unprepared for the luxury and flawless service of Lion Sands. Every aspect of this lodge is tastefully delivered "just right" luxury. The food is surprisingly varied and tastefully prepared, and the room details are superb right down to the showers. The staff just can't stop...

We visited the spectacular Lion Sands River Lodge with our two daughters on a short family break and we straightaway fell in love with this amazing place. On arrival, we were warmly greeted by the enthusiastic general manager (Ronnie) and Cecile who gave us a welcome briefing, explaining what lay ahead and introduced us to our butler (Mylord). We instantly...

This was arguably the best game experience we have ever had. From the 5 star service, luxurious river suite with spectacular river views watching hippos and elephant from our room to the fantastic food, wonderful amenities not to mention the spectacular drives by friendly, highly qualified rangers - a top drawer experience I would relive in a heart beat. Thank...
