Best of the Best..! What a truly magical get away in the middle of the bush. From the time we got there +-3pm, we didn’t even get a chance to unpack, we were whisper away to a late lunch “bobotie” to be exact with a little salad, then straight afterwards on to our first game drive. Thomas was our ranger, what a world class guy. He has to be one of the best in the game. Thomas took us on a tour, that we never ever forget. From day 1, till the last day we bush wacked the Sabie bush like you have know idea. Out of the 5 days we were there, we saw all the full big five 3 of the 5 days. I don't know if words will actually do justice to this piece of heaven in Sabi Sands reserve... everything from the comfortable, beautiful yet understated rooms to the kindness, warmth and generosity of the staff, to the EXCEPTIONAL game viewing and overall experience. The thing I love the most about it is that despite being a commercial camp, it is anything but commercial. Every touch is personal and you leave feeling like family. The moment we got home I wanted to go back and will be going there again and again when I need a bush break. Thanks to Dave, Dale and the wonderful staff. A special thanks to Tinyiko for being so obliging and taking us on wonderful game drives. Nottens is a place not to be missed.

Wow, wow and wow again!! What an incredible stay at Nottens Bush camp! We have been fortunate enough to experience over ten other lodges in the Sabi Sands and this is hands down the best lodge! Our ranger Tinky was outstanding and the sightings were unbelievable, all the big five and more. The best leopard sightings we have ever had and some amazing photographic opportunities. The lodge is beautiful, peaceful and staff are amazing, so professional, polite and attentive. I was blown away by how proactive the staff were. I have never experienced anything like this before, they are always thinking about what their guests might need next. Wow, where to begin. I can't cover it all so I'll just say: this place was paradise. From the big family room to the grounds to the staff and the food... plus the incredible safari drives. We felt spoiled from the minute we arrived. And they were so good with our children. Five stars in every way. Thank you Nottens for the most wonderful stay. Keeping to your policy over the years of hosting limited numbers makes for a very special peaceful time with plenty of space and open air relaxation. The swimming pool was the perfect place to rest in between drives and walks through the bush. With the very experienced guides and off road vehicles we were able to follow a leopard track and kill an impala. We closely observed cheetahs, lions, elephants and buffalo on our morning and evening drives and were able to hear and watch a baby rhino making sounds indicating to it’s mother that it needed to drink milk from her. The sundowners, meals around the boma and sitting on the open verandah with views of the animals visiting the watering hole were magical. This is a…

I recently returned from Nottens Bush Camp and had the trip of a lifetime. The whole experience was superalative. From the ease of booking and the flexibility and friendliness shown by Mie in the reservation process which was complicated in these Covid times and the attentivness, proffessionalism and friendleness of the whole staff at Nottens. The owner David and the whole staff treats you like a family friend rather than a paying guest. The place is beautiful and luxurious but you still feel like you are out in the bush. And of course the highlight was the game drives you can pay ten times as much and not have better sightings. I saw numerous leopards, lions cheetah buffalo elephants baby impalas other mamals and numerous species of birds. But it wasnt only seeing the animals,…

What a pleasure to spend three nights at Notten's Bush Camp. It is supremely comfortable, the service attentive and the food plentiful and delicious. But the real reason one would go there is for game viewing which was great. From watching the passing trade visiting the waterhole which is in full view from all the bedrooms and living areas to the morning and evening game drives i could not have asked for more. We saw leopard on three occasions, cheetah, elephant, plentiful rhino, all manner of buck - the list goes on and on especially if one were to start listing all the birds as well. I was supposed to spend 6 nights at Notten’s and had to extend my stay by another 3 nights. I just couldn’t stand to leave. It was the most unbelievable experience I’ve had. The rangers were outstanding, the game was incredible, the food was exceptional, the accommodation was relaxed luxury and the staff were friendly, full of humour and the vibe between management and the rest of the staff was relaxed and respectful. I never felt alone and was made to feel like I was included at all times. Thank you to everyone at Notten’s for giving me the best holiday ever. I can’t wait to return.
