The Salinda Resort is a wonderful hotel, probably one of the best I have stayed in. Everything was perfect: the environment, the food, the service. You have really great staff and a good understanding of how to make a holiday at the highest level and you know that all the details, even the small ones, are very important. I have worked in the travel industry in the past and I really have a lot of experience, so I have a lot to compare it to. I have been thinking about what you could do better to help you meet the needs of your guests even better, but I have not been able to come up with anything. So I wish you to stay at the same high level in the future. You guys are awesome!

The hotel describes itself as a luxury boutique resort - they absolutely deliver a luxury guest experience. From the moment we arrived, you could tell Salinda was quality. The property and gardens are immaculate, the gym was worthy of a hotel 3 times it's size and there are 4 different dining options - pool bar, Italian, Vietnamese and our personal favourite, Pakka, the Indian restaurant - all delivering quality food, wine and service. The bar serves excellent cocktails and there are 2 very professional bands who provide great entertainment each evening. Other reviews mention the breakfast and it is a standout feature of the hotel - if you enjoy taking your time over a huge selection of hot and cold dishes with a glass of sparkling wine and barista made coffee, this place is for you. The pool and beach areas are perfect - the palms give that tropical feel, plenty shade if you want, big pool, never too crowded and a brilliant sunset every day. As always it is the management and the staff that deliver a memorable holiday experience. Mr Hung and Paolo ensured our stay exceeded our expectations by giving us an unforgettable holiday. A huge thank you also to, Tram, Ha, Tu, Nhu, Trung, Linh and Luan - a credit to Salinda. See you all in February 2025.

This resort is pretty much perfect. It isn’t too big, however it has everything you could wish for. The room was beautiful, the pool area and beach were lovely. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. We enjoyed the evening BBQ on the beach with entertainment including a firedancer. The smell throughout the resort from the oil burners was delightful.

From our arrival to our departure we had a wonderful stay. Salinda is a hidden pearl on the island with oustanding personal and very much attention to guests, high quality food and great location. We always feel at home, because of the amazing people who work there. The breakfast remains the best we have ever eaten. A big compliment to the crew who make sure everything is absolutely perfect, every day. The only downside is that you have to check out again. ;-) We miss Salinda! We will certainly come back.

Beautiful resort ,the garden and swimming pool were very nice . The beach is very small . Plenty of towels for the swimming pool and the beach . They allowed some very young kids in the jacuzzi and swimming pool without supervision . They were unruly, noisy , splashing around . Some 10-12 years old were playing soccer around the lounge chairs . Nobody from the resort addressed this problems . The restaurant by the pool had great food , better than expected . The dinner by the beach had a great selection of food ,especially seafood . Their prices are high compared with others in Vietnam . This is why a lot of guests go to eat in town . The breakfast had a big variety of foods and if requested you could get a capucino at no charge . We asked for Eggs Benedict and I think it was the first time the cook made them . The base was a very , very thin slice of toasted bread with an egg on top with few drops of sauce on it . No ham or Canadian bacon . The sauce was not even close to a Hollandaise sauce . They also have an Italian restaurant , Îl Muro . We went for dinner and it was a big disappointment, the tuna dish was inedible. The room was very clean , the bedding very comfortable . The personnel was extremely nice , polite and professional . The sunset was extraordinary .

Salinda resort is the best hotel we ever stayed at. Everything from the most beautiful flowergarden , a perfect clean room to a breakfast with all you can wish for. The pool and the beach were cosy an clean and there was never a problem finding a sunbed. The gym was fully equipped, clean with showers and toilet. And the stuff was amazing. Always kind, smiling and treated us the best. We didn’t want to leave this paradise. The restaurants where a little bit more expensive than at the street ,but the food was tasty, fresh and the best we ate in our 5 weeks in Vietnam. If you book a room with hill view there is a busy street outside so if you prefer a quiet balcony go for a beach view.

Large bright airy reception is a contrast to the tree lined avenue off the main drag as you approach the resort. An interesting assortment of welcome drink shots is a different take on Vietnamese hospitality. Our room was on the 1st of 3 main floors. Gorgeous separate shower in a good sized bathroom. There is an in room safe but there's no multi plug type electric sockets. The balcony was sufficient but seems crowded with the large seats and table, and there's a clothes airer. The bed is a close copy of a Westin heavenly bed and the wake up alarm was a disappointment to rouse us from our slumber - blissful! Air-conditioning did a great job and never seemed to be noisy and intrusive. House keeping was superb and every evening a package of tea was left to aid with sleep. Always had plenty of drinking water provided. We heard another guest saying that breakfast wouldn't disappoint, absolutely correct and great and varied choice will satisfy anyone. There was also a pianist providing some light music, however it's very loud if you sit too close inside as there is very little furnishings to soften noise. The pool is a lovely temperature providing some respite from the heat. Sun loungers around the pool are tightly packed together as if insufficient space has been allocated for the purpose, this is a shame. Most loungers are covered by umbrella so it's easy to find shelter from the sun. If you do want full sun there are also a few loungers on the beach. Bar/restaurant service is summoned by raising a purple flag at the small table, service is prompt and efficient, with a good selection of drinks and snacks or meals. Id suggest taking water from your room if you order still water from the bar they provide imported Italian water, frankly an opportunity to over charge for a basic commodity. We ate and drunk in the Cyan bar on our first night for ease, however there are plenty of restaurants a close walk. My biggest complaint of this resort is other patrons, we had an evening meal and several breakfast disturbed by unruly children running amoc and the hotel staff appear paralysed to tackle it. I also think the hotel should institute a no ball policy there is a risk of a tranquil experience turning into a 18-30 or spring break holiday. That said I would consider returning to Salinda if I find myself on Phu Quoc again.

My wife and I stayed at Salinda resort for 12 days in January. My wife is in a wheelchair and this was our second visit. We booked a Premium Room with a sea view which was fabulous. Normally we book an accessible room but on this occasion as we travel with our own suction handles we managed perfectly well. The handles grip tightly on smooth glass or ceramic surfaces and we were thus able to make the bathroom and toilet accessible. The room was beautifully decorated with a spectacular ceramic mural artwork behind the bedhead. The room was spacious and had every possible amenity. Airconditioning was faultless and silent, the bed enormous and incredibly comfortable. It was tempting simply to stay in the room. Not only was the room perfect but the entire hotel is well designed, practical and decorated with splendid artwork. The corridors are carpeted which means there is very little noise and the three lifts function like clockwork, rarely would one wait for more than 30 seconds. Once on the ground floor(G) the reception area is luminous, again beautifully decorated and a pleasure to cross as there was always a member of staff smiling and offering a courteous "Xin chao". Access to the restaurants, gardens, beach and pool was easiest by going to the lower floor (L). What is most striking is that the main hotel building is parallel to the beach and to the main road and acts as a sound barrier. Once outside in the gardens silence reigns. To the right is the mango garden which is a haven of peace with two gazebos and a wooden house, an absolute delight. In the morning an ideal location for the yoga classes. Access to the Qi'sense spa was via the garden and this was the sole part of the hotel difficult for a wheelchair, however three strong men and the problem was quickly resolved. Further along one passes the hotel villa rooms and a mesmerising wall of water before arriving at the main restaurant. Here breakfast is served and I can only repeat what all other commentators say 'whow'. If you find fault here you really have a problem. A short distance further you are at the pool and beach. No shortage of sunbeds, competent and willing beach boys readily available to distribute and install towels and arrange parasols. The pool was spotless and easily accessible for my wife as there was stepped pool access with a handrail. Besides the pool is the Cyan Restaurant where you could have snacks and drinks during the day and Vietnamese dinner in the evening. The hotel also has an Italian and an Indian restaurant. The beach is of soft white sand and the sea deepens relatively quickly with a consistent temperature of close to 28 degrees. The hotel offers an afternoon Vietnamese Cooking Class lasting 2 hours. We enrolled for this course, it takes place in the wooden house in the Mango Garden. It was great fun and led by a competent chef named Tai. Under his instruction we prepared a three course meal after which we dined on the lawn at a beautifully laid table. This cooking class has to be pre booked and we highly recommend it. Lastly we have to say thank you to all the staff who were consistently polite and diligent. A special thanks to our waitress at breakfast whose name was Ha, Duong who worked in the Kid's Club, Lila in the Pakka Restaurant and of course Jeevan Thomas who captains the ship. Please note almost all streets and pavements in Vietnam are not wheelchair friendly so one has to be determined and strong to negotiate the kerbs. Never hesitate to ask for help as there is always someone willing to help. To sum up, we had the vacation of a lifetime.
