Passu is my favourite village in Pakistan and the SaraiSilk Route is just the perfect place to stay and explore the area. Quiet location on a hill a bit set back from the Karakorum Highway. Great views of Passu glacier behind and the Passu comes in front of the hotel. Rooms are spacious and well appointed and the warm water supply was always working. Only a very short walk away from the excellent restaurant Yak Grill and a lovely cafe. We stayed for 4 nights and had a fantastic time exploring the area. Meharban Karim, the owner of the hotel gave us excellent recommendations and organized trips very quickly and efficiently. He is from the area, extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to converse with. We plan to come again.

Really enjoyed our stay at Serai Silk Route Hotel. There were 3 of us and the hotel was nice enough to provide us with a mattress and bed linen free of cost. The room and bathroom were very clean and there was a consistent supply of hot water. The views from the hotel were great and the it is walking distance from the Yak Grill Cafe ( best for yak burgers) and Glacier Breeze ( where you get the best apricot cake). I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit and stay in Passu. Seher ~

We've stayed in many hotels in Gilgit-Baltistan over the past 35 years, and our two nights at Sarai Silk Route have been among our most pleasant and enjoyable. The setting and view are amazing, the staff is friendly, helpful and proficient, Meherban Karim the owner is knowledgeable, good humoured, well-connected and very helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is carefully-prepared and delicious. The place has a casual and relaxed feeling, with lots of local cultural elements. Pasu is a beautiful, peaceful village, and the hotel is a short drive to several attractions. We enjoyed hot showers, a comfortable bed, and reliable electricity. It's a fantastic place for viewing the stars, the magnificent Pasu Cones, and is situated close to the terminus of the Pass Glacier. …

We'd booked this hotel on our trip to Hunza and found it to be the best hotel we stayed at. The hotel is situated with a view of the Passu cones with spectacular views and beautiful surroundings. The rooms are clean, warm and comfortable with beautiful decor. The best part of our stay was the hospitality, The owner left no stone unturned to make our stay comfortable, he tried to fulfil every request and advised us with honesty and integrity. The staff were equally courteous and available always. We had privacy to enjoy the gardens and the food was delicious especially the breakfasts and Yak curry. We requested a driver for a trip to Khunjerab and it was arranged promptly at a fraction of the price we were quoted in Hunza. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and had our trip not be short i'd love to spend a few more days here. Thank you sincerely for an amazing stay. …

It was the best stay on our trip to Pakistan for 2 weeks. The owner Mehreban is super friendly, open minded guy. He offers very nice dishes and drinks. We learnt a lot about Pakistan, his knowledge is superb. The place is so clean, the sheets, bathroom, the kitchen is fantastic. The staffs are so thoughtful. I'd definitely recommend this place without a doubt.
