What a pleasure it was to stay at The Garden Shed. Rene was very attentive and helpful, the staff friendly and the 3 rooms our family occupied were perfect! The breakfast was very good and we appreciated and enjoyed the table set outside under the trees next to the pool on the last morning. A place to happily return to!

The rooms are nicely decorated, extremely clean and you can feel lots of love in there. Green garden with swimming pool and jacuzzi just add to the luxury of a 5-star experience. Very kind staff and professional staff prepares delicious food and coffee which is another reason for the excellent accommodation experience in Wellington.

Had a wedding in Wellington and decided to head in a day early to soak up some relaxing sun before the event. After lots of searching online we came across the Garden Shed. Top marks for: - easy to book and were very kind to allow us an early check in - super friendly staff, really professional. - small rooms but with everything you need, clean, well appointed and welcoming. - a guest lounge that opens onto the pool area, so if you feel like being indoors but not in your room or at the pool there is an area for reading and boardgames. - fabulous swimming pool with lots of lounge space. - lovely breakfast prepared by the amazing staff who have nothing but smiles on their faces. - its a very big property so even though there are many guests, it’s very private and you feel like you are the only ones there. - the price per room for what you get is exceptional value for money! If you need a B&B in Wellington then this is the place to book!

To Janet and an amazing team at The Garden Shed, We would just like to thank you for making our stay so memorable. From the moment we entered the property we were welcomed by friendly smiles and a huge welcome from Anneline and Lizelle! The hospitality of the staff members were top class and very professional at all times. The Rooms, the Lounge, Swimming Pool area and the grounds were in mint condition. The jacuzzi was definitely an added bonus to some of us! Lizelle was sooo helpful, assisting in all our queries (even when I couldn’t get the television to play 😊) and answering all our questions with such confidence and ease – she is a true gem! She definitely went beyond what was expected of a hostess and treated us with the utmost respect and care at all times. Thank you for allowing us to use the braai facilities, we had such an awesome time relaxing and celebrating new friendship, love and the blessing of another birthday year! The breakfast was amazing, giving us yet another opportunity to share a fabulous meal amongst ourselves and just taking in the beauty of the surrounds. From the moment we checked in to the check-out time, we had an amazing, hassle-free experience and would definitely be back in the (not too distant) future. Janet and team; thanks one more time for the outstanding hospitality and professional service during our stay. Keep up the good work! Blessing to you all as you continue to be in the service industry, sharing this amazing place with all of us. Best regards, The Jason Family’s

I was really looking forward to my night's stay at The Garden Shed, but unfortunately, everything didn't work out as planned. The room wasn't suited to myself and my husband, and there was a noisy party which didn't exactly allow for a peaceful night. We ended up leaving. BUT! The owner was really hospitable and when I emailed the next day and asked for a refund, it was given to me with no further questions asked, a sincere apology and an offer of a free night. I was really impressed and grateful, it's not every day that you encounter such wonderful customer service :)

We recently stayed in The Garden Shed for 2 nights over Easter weekend after our wedding in the winelands. From the beginning Janet and the team was so prompt with replying to emails and no request was ever too big. We rented out the whole guesthouse and wanted to host a braai for family and friends who had attended the wedding earlier in the week and all the staff couldn't have been more helpful. They provided us with all the cutlery and glassware that we needed and even wood for the braai. The surroundings of the Garden Shed are so beautiful and it's such a quiet and peaceful place. The decor in the rooms is gorgeous and the beds are very comfortable. The Garden Shed cafe is a little haven with nice things to buy (bags, pottery, plants etc) I would 100% recommend this guesthouse to anyone travelling in the area. It's a little gem hidden away in the beautiful winelands of South Africa.
