The view was beautiful ,I had a fantastic time and it was great. It was just myself and my husband so it was very relaxing for us.we came here to watch my grandsons Rugby and the experience was that much pleasant
We needed a simple room as we were visiting friends very nearby and weren't expecting to use the lodge's facilities very much. The room was very well-appointed and -equipped and clean. The property is beautiful and very well-maintained. The owners are ever-present to assist and very friendly. The prices are not for the faint-hearted, but you certainly get what you're paying for. I would love to go there again. The best memory I have is of the superb bed. Slept like a baby....
We had a lovely stay at Lady Loch. The only problem was that there was load shedding in Wellington and we had to get ready for a wedding. Our hostess tried to help us with other options but alas we had to drive to friends in Paarl to get ready. So a generator might be a good idea. But further this place is perfect!
The owners made us feel welcome, and made our stay memorable. We even extended our stay with 10 days. Beautiful gardens, huge swimming pool and tranquil environment. We will definitely stay here again.
I booked for three rooms, one should have been for three children, but because the owner/host could barely speak and understand English was confused with my booking. Very frustrating to understand. Rooms very basic, light in bathroom not working. Only thing good thing going for them is the pool area.
We booked Lady Loch on short notice as we had to attend a wedding in the area. The place is beautiful and we wished we could have stayed another night. Big Swimming pool with baby steps as well as a braai communal braai area and jacuzzi. The rooms are spacious and amenities in the room very good. We had a good night's rest on a big and comfortable bed. Great choice if you need to stay in the Wellington area.
We spent a week renting two rooms at Lady Loch. It was an amazing place all together. Fantasic hosts Lovely breakfast every day large relaxing gardens and a brilliant place to come home to after bussiness for the day. Will definately return to stay many more times. Johann Lubbe
To confirm booking a full payment as per email invoice required in 48 hours. 2 days before occupancy Ramaphosa addresses the nation and our conference need to change the venue. Anneline does not answer two emails which I've sent 2 days before occupancy requesting a 50% return on full paid amount or to change the booking to another date. But when you eventually phone them; this is your reply: "don't think you're going to get back your money ". And then your e-mail gets answered 1 day after checking out date...how convenient?
1.Do garden work in mornings, not when guests arrive. It is uncomfortable when you sit outside on the patio/ stoop and drink or eat something and the garderner is busy their close to you with a watching eye.. I am sorry, I was very dissipointing with that and if I wanted to swim? 2. The message came over not so friendly that my doggy must not be on the grass, so I reasoned I cannot sit then at the swimming pool?.. I was also in private busy with someone on the phone and my doggy went around the corner and the manager came to give me the message that my doggy cannot be on the grass. Give these rules befor I lock open to move into my room, not while I am already in private relxing. It is frustrating for guests. No milk was there, no sanitizers or sanitizing wipes. Could not get tv working. Room did not smell nice. Dumpy smell in rooms. Dishes.. was not clean enough especially cups…
Lady Loch was lovely - its a very peaceful and relaxing farm-like environment - the pool area is especially wonderful and we were left alone to enjoy a wonderful family weekend in Wellington! Great tea table as well with all sorts of unusual teas
