We were 2 couples who spent two nights at Jacaranda Wine & Guestfarm, we all wish we could have stayed longer.
Our cottage was lovely. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. The facilities were perfect and spotlessly clean. The linen good, furnishings excellent and the shower pressure perfect, but the best of all were the owners, Rene & Birgit went way beyond 'the call of duty' to ensure that we had the most wonderful stay.
We cannot recommend this venue too highly. If you are going to stay in the Wellington area I very mush doubt that you will find a more welcoming and value for money than Jacaranda Wine and Guest farm.

The owners and fur babies of this place is what makes it extra special. It is a very quaint wine farm, the smallest registered in South Africa. The whole experience of staying in the cottage felt personal, authentic and not curated. You have access to a pool, the braai area and complete tranquility. We felt safe, it's close to a small town for shops and amenities if needed. And the organic wines are sublime. We did wine tasting and had food on the 'stoep' and it was like visiting friends. Small and intimate. Highly recommended for both locals and International visitors. A TRUE GEM

Room Tip: Fridge is a bit small for family of 4 for a weekend. So buy things needed as needed.

We know Birgit and Rene for about 4 years or so, always spending some wonderful hours in the winery, always enjoying those careful and really great tasting wines. They are all made on an ecological basis. Even this is a reason for visiting the family. But this year we decided to spend some days at their self-cateringvguest house, which is, being honest, not really self-catering, because Birgit helps you to start into each lovely day with a great and well prepared breakfast basket. So, is there anything to blame for? Not really, you will stay in nature close to the vinyards. There is also a big swimming pool. And, not to forget all those lovely animals that are completing the farm-family. Our experience was topped by an extensive wine tasting where Rene explained not only his great wines but also the story behind and his secrets and ideas of wine making. A great place to visit and stay here. We will come back, surely.

We had such a lovely evening at Jacaranda last night. The wine and food were amazing! We have stayed here before and the cottages are very nice. Definitely worth to visit when you are in the Winelands. Thank you Rene and Birgit we had a great time.

This small wine farm is in a nice location, a reasonable drive from Cape Town and at the door or Paarl and other regional wine country. The facilities are all very recently renovated and the cottage was a good value, being spacious, unique, fully equipped and private. We did not see the room in the main house, but the main house is also recently renovated with care by the live-in owners. The farm is young and only produces a few, but good wines. My favorite was the Sauvignon Blanc. Nice saltwater pool and mountain view from the property. The property is small and there is not much else to do there besides the pool and wine. However, a short trip can take you to hikes and other vineyards like Fairview. What really makes this stand out is the owner who is super generous and the fantastic breakfast in the morning. We ate way too much and still only made a dent. Our only mistake was not requesting for her to also make dinner - do this 24 hrs in advance. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome!

I stayed at Jacaranda for two nights and truly regret that it was such a short stay. The guestfarm is an absolute gem and definitely by far the best, quaintest and coziest accomodation I have had on my SA trip. The farm lies in the middle of the vineyards with stunning views on the surrounding mountains. You have absolute peace and a fabulous nature around you.

The little cottages are cozy and newly refurbished with a lot of taste and attention to detail. The rooms offer anything you could possibly need and are very comfortable. The cottage has two porches - one on either side - where you can sit and chill and enjoy your vacation. Or you can also sit at the pool or dip your feet into the water.

The hosts are incredibly welcome and nice, a big compliment to this superb hospitality!! And the two lovely dogs make you not want to leave anymore at all... I am sure I will be back, I loved every minute of my time here!!!

This was our second visit to Jacaranda and I'm sure it won't be the last! Rene and Birgette made us feel so welcome and at home. The 2 bedroom cottage we shared with our friends was really lovely and well stocked with everything we needed for our BBQ on the second night, plus a selection of Jacaranda wines. The pool is beautiful and we had a great time hanging out, drinking wine, playing with the dogs (who are great!) and relaxing. The breakfast is SO good and definitely worth having every day you're there ... and we even squeezed in a wine tasting with Rene which was awesome. We came home chilled and happy and 8 bottles of wine and a giant marrow from the garden heavier! Thank you Rene and Birgette! See you again soon!

We truly enjoyed our stay with Birgit and Rene at the Jacaranda Wine and Guestfarm. The friendly couple and their dogs gave us a warm welcome and made our stay very enjoyable. The breakfast was amazing, Birgit serves you everything you can imagine! Don't forget to taste their house wine which is available in every room. Will definitely go there again.

We had a wedding at Langkloof Roses and we stayed at Jacaranda, which was very close. Our host was awesome and the breakfast she makes is absolutely out of this world! :) The little cottages are quaint, the beds are comfy, and the shower is great! It's really nice to have owners who take pride in their establishments - I'll definitely be back.
