Detailed Reviews
We recently visited Berry Guest Farm on a road trip through the Western Cape.We found it well maintained and clean, very inviting.
The owner and his daughter went out of their way to make us feel welcome and took a real interest in us,with a trip to the “Enchanted Forest” on a motorcycle for one of our family members.
They are super people and run the farm in a way that makes everyone feel special.
I would encourage anyone to go and take a look at this special place and maybe stay awhile.

We popped in to see what they had here and while Monday is traditionally their recovery day after the weekend, staff were extremely kind and welcoming. There is a small shop selling berry products (mostly jams) and a Cafe where we had delicious berry smoothies. The Cafe is on small lake where you can hire boats and canoes and paddle around with beautiful views up to the mountains.

Booked 4 camping sites and off we went as a family to this hidden gem not knowing what to expect. Well what can i boast about this well run establishment - Friendly staff and really it felt like family. The owners went out of their way to make everyone comfortable and kept the kids happy and entertained - Happy Children - Happy Adults. The children were spoilt with motorcycle rides and the highlight being the night walk or glow in the dark trail seeking glow sticks and ending up with a bonfire and marshmallow toasties
Everything was so well looked after. The lawns and scenery were absolute green and fit well with beautiful views of the mountains
We have booked again to go later in the year as we did not cover all the facilities offered

We joined a group for a weekend away last weekend and what a treat. Beautifully kept gardens, basic but perfectly comfortable accommodation, and activities that brought out the child in all of us. We loved every minute from the warm welcome to the reluctant departure, we will be back!

This place is totally rigged to keep a child entertained for hours on end...well done to the owner.
The accommodation is not my style. That being said, it has what is advertised.
It wad dirty on arrival though.
Might return

We had a wonderful stay at The Berry Farm. Although it wasn't berry season there was plenty to do. If you are going as a couple be sure to stay in their honeymoon suite as it is a bit further away from the other accommodation and the place where the children play and swim so you will have more peace and quiet. The other accommodation isn't loose standing so you are a bit to close to your neighbours for our liking especially if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We have children ages between 7 and 11 and this was a great place for the family to relax and enjoy what is organised for children on a long journey.
The host family were very welcoming to us and very enthusiastic in helping our children to enjoy their time there. My daughter spotted a small antelope close up among the berry bushes. They all enjoyed the evening search in the forest. I was able to get a bit of work done on my laptop beside the small lake that they have. We met another nice family and the children played with various other children who we met while there. Nice pool, garden, forest walk, maze, hosts, lake, canoe / kayak? and very close to the shops in town for the sake of self-catering.
Fantastic views of the mountains.
All round is was a good nice relaxing experience.

We never stayed there but we visited the berry farm. We got there late for the tour. We were with my hubby and 6 year old child. The owner was great with my kid. He was the only kid on the tractor and allowed him to "drive"
we did fun things for adults and kids on the tour and the berries were delicious.
