We stayed here as part of a support team for the cycle race & was right on the route of the race as the teams finished so we could spur them on for the last bit. There are a few cottages on the premises each with its own entrance. The cottage has 3 bedrooms , a nice big kitchen/lounge open plan , a scullery & bathroom with shower & bath . The property was very well maintained. There was also an outside braai area with a table & some chairs & bench area with cushions. It was protected from the elements to. Check in process was simple , the area is quiet & quite safe as we had many vehicles standing outside the gates & fence . There is undercover parking for 1 vehicle inside the gate . There was also a full DSTV package so we managed to watch some world cup football at night. The property is close to the main road as well as to a few shops & restaurants. We will definately stay there again next year for this race

Loved this place...wish I had stayed longer! Large rooms for families or groups, and the ease of self check-in was fantastic. The location is great, in a quiet residential neighborhood, and the property is extremely well maintained.

very comfortable, good location not often we find 3 bedrooms, plus pet friendly! Although the house is extremely well equipped, we did wish we had a longer braai fork (to turn the meat on the fire) and also oven mitts . Despite this, we found the house well equipped, with good quality utensils - certainly an exception to the rule. The beds were extremely comfortable - again, in my opinion, an exception to the rule We will be definitely be back

The location of the cottage was perfect. We were attending a MTB race which started at the Swellendam Showgrounds and the cottage was very close. The cottage was very clean and the facilities provided very good. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much!

Immaculate unit tastefully furnished with every necessity for a pleasant stay. A lot of attention given to detail, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the patio outside with our own private courtyard Looking forward to our next visit.

The cottage was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Everything was well maintained and for the price you pay I thought it was excellent value. There is a little courtyard off the lounge with a braai area and table and chairs, as well as an inside dining table. The appliances were all good quality as was the linen and there is even a small laundry room and wash line. It is very central and there are good restaurants within walking distance if you choose not to cook there. I would definitely recommend it.

My wife and I stayed here four nights and because of an of a problem with booking.com (DO NOT use booking.com) ended up staying here with a 3 bedroom accommodation all too ourselves! Very comfortable and we had everything we needed while attending a 4 day conference. Would be great for a family!!!

My husband, a friend and I stayed here and found it pleasant. It is probably better geared for families. Only one bathroom for 3 bedrooms. Nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. Luckily I had my own pillow as its were too big and hard for my liking. It would have been great to have a cotton blanket instead of a duvet in the hot summer nights. Only 2 fans, which wasn't enough, really. A bit noisy with barking dogs, but the fans drowned them out. We would stay there again if passing through Swellendam with others.

We went to FAZENDA LOG CABINS in Swellendam. It is a one bedroom log cabin, but sleeps 4. There is only two self catering houses which makes it ideal for a quiet break away. Most tranquil setting you can imagine and it is located on a fruit farm with the mountains right around you. This setting is absolutely beautiful and only 3km out of town. You have a dam right in front of your cabin and there is beautiful hiking trails. Here you can really become one with nature.
