Wildebraam offers several lovely units on a youngberry farm in Swellendam. Nestled in the Hermitage Valley, 2 km from Swellendam, all the units enjoy stunning views of the Langeberg Mountains and guests will revel in the tranquil country atmosphere. All units are fully equipped with towels and linen provided. Games and books are also provided.A minimum 2- night stay over weekends is preferred when booking the larger cottages. Wildebraam is renowned for its liqueurs and deli range produced on site and all guests are welcome to join us for tastings in our cellar Mon-Sat. In addition, Wildebraam has a conference/function venue which can host up to 64 people and both corporate and private functions are very popular.ACTIVITIES: Liqueur & deli tasting at Wildebraam Cellar, horse riding by own appointment with DEE HAZELL, birding, hiking in surrounds or in Marloth Nature Reserve (1.5km), mountain biking and berry picking (in season). A 9-hole golf course is 1.5km away and various sport clubs are in Swellendam. Little ones (and older ones!) will love Sulina’s Fairy Sanctuary and Swellendam also has several art galleries and local potters and artists. Well worth visits could include the local Drostdy museum, Bontebok National Park, De Hoop Nature Reserve, Robertson Wine Route-just to mention a few. There are also lovely day trips into the countryside including Barrydale, Montagu, Robertson, Malgas and Arniston. BUT, most of all, lots of RELAXING!! Wine tasting and country meandering are the order of the day.We look forward to sharing our "berried treasure" with you!

We loved our stay at Wildebraam Berry Estate! We stayed in the Cranberry Apartment, and were so impressed with their attention to detail. The apartment was equipped with everything we could wish for, we had spectacular views and the area offers just the type of activities we love - good hikes and charming coffee shops ;). Thank you so much! PS top quality bedding to top it all off!

Though the reception, relaxation and situation were good, the state of the plumbing was something which left a negative impression. The Garden Suite needs maintenance in the bathroom: the water does not stay in the sink when the plug is in; the showerhead is so clogged that one has to find the spray, not it find you; there is also a problem with the toilet wasting water as it runs quietly and continuously into the bowl; it did stop this at one stage, but then the shower dripped instead. As you can read, there are some matters which need urgent attending to.

Thank you for bringing the plug/sink and showerhead to our attention. I will attend to it immediately. The toilet cistern was replaced as soon as the problem was discovered. Happy to say all is repaired and thank you for the feedback. It helps tremendously to get honest feedback as we are then able to address anything which cleaning staff have not reported. Regards Natalie

Being a working farm, farm noises start early in the morning. The fridge in the room was noisy as it rarely switched off, and with the room being on top of the cellar, there are additional noises from outside as well. Friendly reception and they went out of their way to return our call, and book the room for us.

Good morning! We will certainly investigate the fridge noises as they are supposed to be silent kind...., my apologies for that. Yes, unfortunately, the apartments are at the cellar and in the thick of things. Might I suggest Berry Cottage and Garden Suite in future if you are passing our way again? They are more secluded and quiet. Many thanks for your support and feedback, much appreciated! Regards Natalie
