Riaan and Juanita make you feel so welcome, the rooms are clean, neat and walking distance from restaurants. Perfect get away or just a nice stop between George and Cape Town. Definitely worth the price as an amazing boere breakfast was includes as well as an awesome complimentary bottle of wine when left.

When you go through and need a stay in Swellendam the Windmill is a perfect spot. Right in the center close to restaurants this newly build guest house has everything you could ask for including the most friendly hosts. We enjoyed it a lot and great breakfast is included. Thanks😍

I love this guesthouse and have stayed there more than once. They have a simple, no-nonsense approach to hospitality and I loved the fun decor of the breakfast lounge, complete with matching serviettes and place mats. I would recommend this place to anyone who wishes to spend time in the fantastic town of Swellendam, whether for business or pleasure.

Beautiful clean (has a come back again feel), the ambiance was so lovely and welcoming great atmosphere in this Guesthouse. Riaan and Juanita the host and hostess went out there way to make us feel welcome. They were very helpful in giving tips on Swellendam and restaurants to have supper at. When you book at this guesthouse request the rooms at the back it is right next to the pool area. We loved the place will definitely go back.

I enjoyed my stay from the minute I arrived till I checked out. The rooms are well decorated & equiped with new furniture - I was told that the guesthouse is just 2 years old. The owners are wonderful people. There is a restaurant just accross the road in just 20 meters away from the guesthouse. I will definately come back again & would recommend this place to other people who would like to stay in Swellendam.
