Bay View is conveniently located in Heldervue, Somerset West with easy access from the N2 and R44. Rooms have panoramic daylight views of the surrounding mountains and of the entire False Bay including Gordon's Bay, Strand and Cape Point and a mass of night lights of the Helderberg Basin. Affordable ROOM ONLY accommodation serviced daily, with private entrance, Queen Bed, Air Conditioning, TV/DSTV, Free Wi-Fi connection, Fridge, Microwave, Coffee & Tea Facilities and Mini Bar in the room. A family room is available with a connecting separate bedroom with 2 single beds. Most other rooms have a Queen and Single Bed layout within 1 room. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with either shower or bath and shower options. A guest lounge area is also available for you to enjoy the sunset or have some quiet time. Bay View is ideal for the leisure and business travelers alike. A base from which you can explore the Helderberg, surrounding wine estates, beaches and scenic routes with many hiking trails and mountain bike routes in the area. Bay View does not serve any meals due to our close proximity to Waterstone Village which has many restaurant options serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and various take away options.

Bay View is a lovely guest house. The hosts are great. We particularly enjoyed the balcony area. I would highly recommend not only for business trips but also for a getaway, and recharge from the hustle and bustle of daily life. They are well priced as well. Will definitely stay here again, I am in Somerset West on business quite often, and this will become my home away from home.

Wonderful accommodation. The manager was attentive and helpful, but not overbearing. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Everything from a hair dryer and extension lead to cold water and milk in the fridge, coffee amenities, soaps and room spray etc. Lovely garden and pool area. Will definitely stay there again.

My second visit to this lodge and I absolutely love it. The rooms are spacious and have everything you could possibly need. Full DSTV bouquet, swimming pool, bar. Secure parking. Location is central. Host is very friendly and helpful. Thank you Mark!

We always stay at the Bay View. It feels like home away from home. Clean rooms, well equipped and secure. Not to mention the views. It’s very close to the best wine yards and restaurants and shopping malls. It honestly is our happy place ! We got to know and love the owner. From Dalene Hawley

Great situated in Somerset West with close distances to nice restaurants and wineyards. There are also some good golf courses in close distance to Bay View. We played Boschenmeer in Paarl and have earlier played De Zalze.

Enjoyed my stay was close to the family 200m from the bride and groom went down for a wedding lovely view from the place. Bathroom are beautiful parking under cover. was also quick to get to my friend when I left Bay View. Excellent
