Albourne House is 30 minutes from Cape Town airport and is in an ideal spot for visits to the wine lands and Cape Town itself. It has beautiful gardens and swimming pool and is kept to a high standard.Glen the manager is most helpful and has a good team to help him.We have stayed here a couple of times now and can honestly say that it is amongst the top guest houses that we have stayed in.Highly recommended

We stayed at Albourne for the second time and it was as pleasant as the first visit. You feel welcome from the very first moment. Great, clean rooms, nice pool, very good breakfast. When you are at the pool you can also get water and coffee or a muffin (for free). You can also ask for things to do in the area. We felt very very good at the Guest House and will def. come back. We can recommend it 100%, not only for the great rooms and garden plus pool, but also because the people at Albourne makes it special!

Upon arrival immediately felt welcome. Reception was friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and well appointed - not only aircon, fridge, tv and kettle, but a Nespresso machine which I thought was a nice touch. Bathroom lovely. Breakfast was superb and service was fast. The whole setup is brilliant. Beautiful garden next to the pool and I just enjoyed my stay as a whole. Cannot recommend enough.

Four of us travelling from America, chose Albourne because of its proximity to Vergelegen Wine Estate, but it is much more than that. We arrived to an attractive Cape Dutch building, Audrey met us with a smile and put us into upgraded rooms. Very clean, comfortable with shower and kitchenette. Better than expected. The dining area is indoors or shady outdoors with a delicious breakfast of your choice including hot food and a selection from an appetizing buffet. An espresso machine is provided and a latte was made for me. The pool area is clean and well maintained and towels are provided. The experience was exceptional, good value and to be recommended. We will be back...

This is a charming and delightful guesthouse modernised to current standards within a large and beautifully kept garden with a swimming pool and numerous sun beds. The service was friendly and impeccable...there was always a person on reception to assist with any enquiry be it golf bookings or restaurant bookings or places to visit. All the recommendations which we followed were very good The owner Glen was charming and very helpful
