We were only there for 2 nights for a family gathering in the area, but it was a great choice. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that, but we were offered coffee by the owners when we all gathered downstairs. The rooms are very comfortable and all the little extras placed in the room and bathroom point to attention to detail for guest comfort. Everything spotlessly clean, good size bathroom and a good shower. Jürg and Constance are friendly, wonderful hosts. Can only recommend and hope to return soon.

Room Tip: It's a quiet, residential suburb and all the rooms are great; we had the big room upstairs...

This guest house was the most ideal way to start our holiday in South Africa. Carine, the manager, makes the stay in a perfect setting, very relaxing. The rooms were a good size and clean, very varied breakfast choices, lovely sized, clean pool. The help Carine gave us to book restaurants, chase up booked tickets, made our holiday stay special. I was also grateful of processions we left behind were safely returned to us. Strangely there has been no review since last April 2013 but I hope to change this.

We had a fabulous stay at this B&B which is tucked away in a quiet residential area. Jorg and Constance the owners were so welcoming, they couldn't do more. The rooms were immaculate and beautifully furnished, breakfast consisted of freshly baked bread made by Constance and eggs cooked Jorg 'style', all delicious.
A lovely garden and pool too....we didn't want to leave! Would highly recommend.

We started our trip staying at Alphabed. Arrived with a late flight but was easy find from the airport. Rooms were pretty and bed excellent. For breakfast we only needed to step out of door on the terrace in front of our room. Romantic and sunny setting for a breakfast partly served at the table, partly self service from a table set in the kitchen. We could not wish for a better start of our holidays.
We can recoomend you visit also the Vergelegen Wine Estate close by and have lunch at the Sofia restaurant at the entrance of the Estate (belonging to a different estate-which also has a great terrace fo wine tasting with a stunning view of the mountains). Ideally: morning visit to the Vergelegen, late lunch at Sofia and afterwards wine tasting at that estate and enjoy the view (and the wine :)).

A stay to remember!
I had the pleasure of staying at Alpha B&B once again!
The accommodation was inviting, beautifully decorated and spotless! Breakfast was my favourite time of the day! Simply delicious and nutritious!
I spent some time in the lovely gardens by the pool; relaxing, reading a good book, enjoying a cool drink… thinking to myself…. this must be paradise!
A heartfelt Thank You to the great hosts Jürg and Constance, who went out of their way to make me feel important and special!

I‘ll be back!!!

My 3rd stay in 5 years at AlphaBed & Breakfast and it keeps on getting better!! Juerg and Constance are beautiful hosts and made my stay even more perfect. The room was super clean and all was very nicely organised and the breakfast they serve is something other B&B's could learn from "Superb"
I will definitely come back to AlphaBed & Breakfast as it is the perfect place to start your adventures in the Cape from! they are beautiful situated in Somerset West close to Cape Town and Stellenbosch and all other good places on the Cape.

It is the second time I was staying at the AlphaBed B&B, and each time I enjoy my stay...The B&B is well located and not far from the Verglegen Wine Estate. The owners, Contance and Juerg make you feel at home. The breakfast is excellent , and on a sunday Constance bakes the traditional Swiss Bread 'Zopf'. Rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. I will definitly come again.

We spent six days at AlphaBed and found it to be the ideal starting point for visits to Cape Town, the wine region and the beach. Our hosts, Jürg and Constanze were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was beautifully decorated, clean and in perfect condition. The garden with a small saltwater pool offered a pleasant retreat after a busy day. We very much enjoyed the excellent breakfast especially the Swiss muesli. We will definitely come back!
