Pelican lodge is very consistent in offering quality rooms and breakfasts. The staff go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. On arrival we were offered complimentary tea and coffee which after a day of travelling was very welcome.
The room is always clean and comfortable and the staff respect privacy.
We will always return to Pelican whenever we get the opportunity to travel in the most beautiful part of SA :)

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at Pelican Lodge on a bed and breakfast basis. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, the room was serviced daily, the bathroom appeared to have been recently refurbished with a large walk in shower and there was always plenty of hot water and clean towels. We also had a very pleasant outside seating area. Cleo was a very welcoming host and prepared a good breakfast every morning, we particularly enjoyed the selection of fresh fruit and yoghurt. We would definitely recommend Pelican Lodge for a peaceful and comfortable stay in Sedgefield and will return when we next visit The beautiful Garden Route.

I've recently had two visits to Pelican Lodge (March & May/ June 2022), both times were for work. We were welcomed warmly each time by Cleo, on the second visit she remembered me from the previous one.
The rooms are lovely, I really appreciate the thoughtful touches that are included in the rooms - plenty of 2 prong plugs, USB chargers, load shedding kit, mini-fridge, toiletries, wine glasses, bug spray etc. Breakfast is lovely, and there is a plenitude to eat.
The ladies and gents on staff are polite, friendly and always willing to assist.
I'm very impressed.

We last stay at Pelican Lodge in December 2000. Pelican Lodge is still your home away from home vibe. Ian and staff are very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with the extra bonus of the pool and braai facilities on site. Sedgefield has grown so much since our last stay and Ian was very helpful with recommendations of which markets to visit and places to see Local restaurant Moonshine Runners was outstanding and within walking distance from Pelican Lodge. Thank you so much for a much needed relaxing family holiday

I had a lovely weekend stat despite the weather! I felt safe especially as I was travelling solo. Good location, near highway, shops and lagoon. Warm welcome from the manageress who also made delicious breakfasts in the morning. A comfortable stay with clean bedroom and bathroom. Only negative is bathroom towels are very thin and probably need replacing with new ones though.

Friendly staff received us when we checked in. It was a most enjoyable stay at Pelican Lodge.
The room was perfect, clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was lovely having the balcony to sit out in the fresh air and have refreshments.
