Lovely honeymoon spot, alone (the privacy was so nice), exotic, a beautiful forest experience! The nicest bathtubs! The kitchenette was really well-equipped! Had a good time coocking there! Had a great time on your hiking trails! its was very romantic.

Overall not bad but expensive for what you get. It is basically a little better than putting up your own tent in the bush when considering the facilities and gorge view. We are all for going green, but the outside toilet that flushes with leaves was inconvenient, especially when it is raining. It has the potential to be a great...

We were nicely received and fortunately told in advance that we should bring supplies for all meals including coal for the barbecue. The 2-bedroom appartment was so charming and everything worked perfect. We really enjoyed the stay and felt that we got value for money.

We stayed at Beardwood in November, we arrived just as it was getting dark which really should be avoided. The first 24 hours were amazing. The accommodation was rustic (just how we like it) and more importantly Eco friendly. We had everything needed to self cater including a weber bbq on the terrace. We loved the outdoor bathroom and the...

We stayed in 'Moon over Milkwood' and loved it. The peace and isolation was perfect, we felt completely secluded. The treehouse was rustic and eco-friendly yet clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend for nature lovers.

this place is sublime. viv and robin have built 8 tree houses in an indigenous forest that runs down into a river gorge. each treehouse is different - we stayed in one that is placed on the side of the valley and is hidden in the treetops with a trekking path running right underneath the treehouse down into the gorge...

Chalets: rustic and creatively put together. You get a tent feel with a proper kitchen and bathroom. We LOVED the eco-friendly approach everywhere-it's so seldomly used that it's an experience in itself. We had the opportunity to stay in 2 different chalets-both were very different and had their own unique quirks-wonderful. Total privacy, untouched slice of nature, makes one appreciate...

This is an inspiring place to stay - so much thought put into everything, from the beautiful natural carpentry of the kitchen, the bath tub surrounded by wooden windows, the genius eco toilet and its detailed technical explanations. The ancient woodlands make for a mystical, deep sleep and the canvas safari tent bedroom makes you feel safe enough from the...

Whilst set amongst the most beautiful surrounds and the enjoyment of rustic living was an expexperience, the downfall was that it seemed very pricey for accommodation which has not been well maintained considering. Our tent's zips were broken amongst a few other minor details. For a nature experience for a family outing though wins my vote. Hike to rock pools...
