Friendly welcome. Lovely, clean and well maintained rooms at extremely reasonable rates with everything you need - braai area, aircon, electric blanket & even security gates on each room (for the nervous). Will make this our Robertson stay in the future

We stayed at no 63 what an unexpected treasure! A very friendly welcome from Mike the Manager, who took time to make sure we were comfortable in our self catering cottage and gave us maps of the area and wine estates. An old quaint cottage, typical of the area. Every thing was sparklingly clean and comfortable with air con and TV in lounge. Free Wi-fi access too. Built in braai in garden and a beautifully manicured, walled in garden, perfect for our two mini poodles! Kitchen was well equipped, plentiful towels in bathroom and good shower pressure. We are used to king size beds, so the smaller size bed was a squeeze, but there were 3 other beds to over flow into! I would definitely recommend a stay at this friendly, secure and well kept establishment!

The accommodation is adequate but not for couples. Maybe contractors - it was overpriced for what you get the place is in need of a deep clean and a fix up the draw was missing and overall the place look very tired. I think if you are looking for a nice get away they stay elsewhere.

We stayed here for one night and experienced some plusses and minuses. The studio accommodation was quiet as it was at the back of the property and therefore shielded from the traffic noise. We were impressed by the security at the lodgings and grateful for the gated parking for our car. Less impressive was the area in our room, behind the chairs, which hadn't been cleaned in a while, the dust build up under the bed and the grungy looking tiles in the shower.
Although there was an air conditioning unit, ventilation was poor.

Hi thank you for taking the time to review our establishment. These reviews are discussed with our staff, so that they can see that it is not only management that looks at the rooms, but rather the much more important views of the guests that stay with us. We have been experiencing high winds lately in robertson, but that is not an excuse rather it is a reason for us to be extra diligent in our servicing of the units. We are in negotiations with our neighbor to allow us to put windows in the back of the flats, thus to ensure good ventilation. We look forward to accommodating you again Regards Mike

Its a bit noisy. Its on one of the main roads, so you aware of the trucks passing. The accommodation is clean, beautifully furnished. It is in a residential area and we had the end cottage which is unfortunate because the private residence next door had a party.
The service otherwise was good.

Hi Thank you for taking the time to review our business. We constantly stive to improve our establishment and as such reviews are a great way to do so. We are aware of the problem of noise in those front rooms and are looking at possible solutions like thicker curtains, burt unfortunetly those rooms will always have a higher noise factor than the rest of the establishment. Regards Mike

I spent the weekend at Paul Kruger 63 in cottage no 59 with my wife and parents. It was the last available accommodation in and around Robertson due to the popular Wacky Wine Festival and I had no idea what to expect from the self catering accommodation on offer.

We were adamant about staying in Robertson for the weekend and finally decided to book the cottage. This turned out to be the perfect getaway spot as it is centrally located in the heart of town!

Paul Kruger 63 is no five star establishment but it's no hole in the wall by any stretch of the imagination either.
The rooms and decor are quaint and spacious (more than the website pics alluded to) and the accommodation was quite literally perfect for our needs. All the basic amenities are catered for with plenty of space for the family and includes a private backyard with built-in braai and comfortable seating. Management even allow you to bring your dogs along with prior notification and a small set of understandable rules.

The cottages are all well maintained and are situated very neatly on a secure plot. The coffee shop and bakery right next door make a fresh variety of breads and rolls a quick and welcome reality. There was enough parking for two vehicles in tandem on the property behind automated gates as well.

We had a ball of a time and even though most of the weekend was spent out and about on various wine estates coming "home" in the evenings was better than I expected.

Thanks to Mike for helping us improve our memories of our weekend away and for being available to cater for our needs!

Thank you for your kind words. Good reviews are our best adverts and happy guests generate good reviews. Wacky Wine is an important time of the year for us and receiving good reviews during this period means guests go home and tell their friends about us Thanks once again Mike
