The most tranquil and relaxing environment with fantastic hosts and amazing service - a hidden gem which we will certainly return to. The wine farms, Bird Paradise and the river barge in Viljoensdrift are just a few attractions we visited and are very close to the LAB. The food was amazing and served in impeccable time. This venue can be used for strategic breakaways too and would suite bridal showers/wine tastings etc. should you be in need of a venue. Highly recommend.
If you are looking for a relaxing outdoor time together with upmarket accommodation then this will be the place to visit. My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary and wish that we could have stayed longer, but now have a reason to return. The accommodation with high tech voice command features was comfortable and clean. The host (Rita) was always friendly and accommodating and ready to assist in any need you might have. The restaurant on the premises makes it convenient because it is located outside of town. We enjoyed the scooter rides in the beautiful nature surroundings so much!
A piece of heaven tucked away in Robertson. From the rooms to the friendly staff and owners, TheLAB in Robertson is truly a SPECTACULAR place. I can not fault them on anything and got back to NORMAL life feeling like I had been on an extended holiday even though I was only there for a weekend. WE WILL BE BACK (and bring some friends along when we do) Thank you for a WONDERFUL weekend
My friends and I were staying in Robertson and wanted to go for a SPA day. On arrival we were greeted and the views were amazing. We then proceeded to the SPA. The SPA which consists of two rooms were not cleaned properly and there were also some spiders in the room. They do not have experienced SPA staff and the massage we paid top dollar for was horrible. We then wanted to have lunch but we had no service. We decided just to have something to drink and eat somewhere else. We waited forever for our drinks. When we wanted to pay there was no communication between the SPA and front desk. The lady at the front phoned the spa about our treatments, we paid and left. Later that day I received an email stating we still owe the SPA R400 as there was a short payment for the massages and that there was a misunderstanding between the staff. They rung up the incorrect massage. Which by the way is not the problem of the customer as we were there and payed what was asked of us. The unhappiness of the staff towards management also made our experience very uncomfortable. I would not recommend making use of their services.…
This was truly a rejuvenating and quality stay. The staff were beyond helpful and were flexible to accommodate us with our needs. We were greeted every morning and enjoyed our breakfast next to nature with birds chirping. The food was great and more than enough to keep us energised for the day. We booked the room with private jacuzzi which was a bonus but that didn't stop us from enjoying the communal infinity pool. The room was automated with the echo sound system which activated with your voice command. The modern yet eco-conscious living was impressive and motivating. The accommodation was central to all activities. One of our favourite memories was made in theLab Robertson on the #ecoscooter, we got lost but that was part of the fun adventure! After a day out, we would come back to our rooms and noticed the bed was made, towels exchanged, bins emptied, jacuzzi refilled and ready for us to hop in. The room service was outstanding. Thank you theLab Robertson, we will definitely stop by again!…
