A blissful experience, stayed in Night Jar self catering cottage which is a bit rustic but had everything we required. Place was spotless and well kept.. Location was private and serene. Thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub outside and the inside jacuzzi which helps when the weather is a bit chilly. Will definitely be returning!

A tent with an incredible view of the valley. The indoor fireplace is awesome and provides great heat. The shower pressure is as good if not better than indoor plumbing!
The braai and breakfast baskets were well thought out; just the convenience one needs on a weekend away.

We hiked the Hermit's ridge trail and came down via Karin's trail. Be warned: the Karin's trail is very slippery and care needs to be taken when coming down.

We only wished we had a tent with a hot tub, but alas, NEXT TIME!

Hi and thank you so much for the 5 stars and the wonderful comments. We are in a water scarce area and were initially concerned about installing hot tubs at our Africamps tents, but I think with careful management and recycling the water from the tubs to irrigate our gardens will see us through to installing tubs at all the tents in the near future. Keep well and we hope to see you onsite soon again, hopefully we'll have the hot tubs installed by then.

Hiking, dipping in the dam, relaxing in the hot tub and reading by the fireplace. When your having your meal outside and the birds chirping loving songs, you know you on holiday. I would like to go back for another visit.

Hi and thank you for the wonderful comments and 5 stars - I'm so pleased that you noticed the birds as their birdsong is truly wonderful in our area, especially in the early morning or just after a summer rain. Keep well, and we hope to share the birds' melody with you again in the near future.

This was our 2nd visit to Pat Busch as we had our honeymoon there last year and decided to spend our 1st year anniversary there as well. It's the most perfect breakaway from the city life and the entire Pat Busch team are amazing people. They really made us feel extremely welcomed and just overall hospitality is amazing. We will most definitely be making it an annual thing if not more and we will recommend this piece of paradise any day! From Gary & Charlene

This was the venue chosen by our daughter for her wedding. The resort is breathtaking to say the least. We stayed in tent 2 and found it to be extremely comfortable.
Thank you for adding another unforgettable memory to our list of outstanding places we have been to.

I most certainly preferred the Africamp house tents - because of their position. We had planned to have our lunches at wine farms - but, always came back to enjoy the lunch (and some wine) on the deck. Everything worked, well equipped and the scenery is just unbeatable.

We went away just for a break and ended up at Pat Busch, a beautiful place where there is no reception just the quite, peace of nature, we bought the nicest biltong, wors, and mince from the owner and took a whole lot home. We really enjoyed it.

Visited for 2 nights and what an experience. Will definitely return to partake in all the activities that is on offer. Ideal break-away -- no TV and poor cell phone reception - ideal!! Fireplace makes the stay very cozy.

Dear Neethling, thanks so much for the lovely review and 4 stars. We love the fact that you relished not being connected to your cellphone :) but instead took the opportunity to break-away & breathe. That said, the majority of the reserve does offer complimentary wifi if you really feel the need to get in touch. Keep well, and we hope to see you soon again, all of the best from the Team at Pat Busch.

I will definitely be back for longer next time. The tents are so cute and cozy with a full braii set up on the veranda. Wood Burning stove is great for those cold nights and the beds are extremely comfortable. I stayed here with my family and we booked 3 cabins it was awesome! I highly recommend this place. Even though we should unplug in such a beautiful place they did have Wi-FI which was really nice!
