Very private. The shower is very relaxing, nice pressure. spacious bedroom. The Tvs may need to be upgraded. We appreciate their laundry service. Not too far from the nice restaurants. Home away from home.

We stayed here two years ago but the farm has since changed ownership. We saw far more of this couple, Annette and her husband, who could not have been more helpful and informative. We had an excellent wine tasting followed by a meal in their restaurant and the rooms in the Hannepoot Huisses are very comfortable. We are looking forward to returning to see how the grape harvests are doing! The picture is the view from our room.

We had a lovely weekend in the valley. Our cottage was very spacious and clean. All well kitted out and basics supplied. However no wifi (understandable as it is a farm out of town), no credit card facilities (Bad!!) and no room service if you stay more than one night which is sad because a small touch like that would make it that much more relaxing and pleasant.

I stayed on business, on a recommendation by a client. For a city-slicker, the charm of the vineyards and views surrounding my lodgings was a treat. Situated on a wine farm, easily accessible from the main road (about 3 km), it is convenient and close to Robertson, where there are shops, great restaurants and other attractions. At the time of my stay, the restaurant was not open. So if you are a single guest, be prepared to go to Robertson for breakfast, or do your won self-catering. I had the top "bungalow", which offers the best views of the mountains and vineyards. The bedroom id=s functional, with electric blankets. However, I found the lack of any toiletries (shampoo) an irritation, as especially on business, one does expect to have this. There was just one small soap bar. There are no closets, only some hooks and hangars, so be prepared to live out of your suitcase The lounge area is cozy, with a fire-place, tasteful little art torches. The fridge is useful, and coffee / tea are provided For business, there is wifi - available only in some spots - but the signal in the area is not good overall. The quietness and tranquility is the best feature. Restful. Great for walks Great views. Great for an-out-of-town getaway

We had a lovely wedding at Du Von Saturday (19/05/2018) and stayed over at the neighbouring farm Hanepoot Huisies @ Wederom. We were received so friendly and warmly by Nicola when we arrived at Wederom the Friday afternoon that we immediately felt right at home! We (four adults) stayed in “Die Winkel Huisie” with two rooms and one bathroom and my daughter’s friend in room 5 next to the swimming pool. Each unit with its own kitchens and outside braai area, clean and beautiful. Some family and friend (+-40) of the wedding party gathered the Friday evening for an outside braai next to the reception area and we could make use of the braai room and patio to sit and chat and have a lovely meal together, the evening before the wedding. The two bathrooms below the Silo units were available to us and were very neat and tidy! Firewood, glasses and all the cutlery was included in the very reasonable rent fee and best of all the clean-up was done for us. Robertson is only +- 13km away and we went to the Park Run Saturday morning and to buy some supplies for the weekend at the local Shoprite. We spend the rest of the morning strolling around and siting under the tree in front of our little house admiring the incredible views of the mountains, getting up every now and then to get closer to identify the abundance of birds that visits the extensive gardens and the win yards next to the house. We were blessed with incredible weather for the wedding the Saturday afternoon and evening. We hope to be privilege enough to “see you again” Wederom!
