Orange Grove is a working wine and olive farm situated in the heart of Robertson's Valley of Wine and Roses. The farm is less than two hours from Cape Town and is the ideal place to relax and rejuvenate. Our luxurious self-catering cottages are named after the areas where the owner mined diamonds, and each has a unique story to tell. They combine comfort and beauty, offering a setting in which to linger and relax. Each cottage can be serviced daily by our friendly staff, leaving you only to concentrate on unwinding and enjoying the magnificence of your surroundings. Your private veranda and swimming pool provide a relaxing vantage-point to take in spectacular mountain views, the overwhelming sound of silence, and the truly prolific birdlife. At night the crystal-clear sky, and no artificial lights, will spectacularly display the breath-taking canopy of our southern stars. Our cottages are located far enough from each other to provide maximum privacy for our guests.

Stayed in the Delportshoop unit. Waking up to the sounds of a variety of birds; with the mountains or farm dam as a backdrop was just what we needed. The property was clean and neatly maintained with all the amenities you would expect from a self catering unit and more. The outside braai, gas stove, indoor fireplaces in the sitting room and both bedrooms and rechargeable lights equip you during loadshedding. The outside braai area seating is spacious and comfortable; with the braai being cleaned daily if used. The balcony overlooking the farm dam is where your private pool is situated; with ample outside seating as well. Hairdryers are supplied for after your day in the pool. NB: the pool is not heated. There was no laundry items supplied but the farm does offer laundry services at an added cost. We ordered from the breakfast menu with items being delivered to your door and freshly made - it was delicious. Close enough to the nearest town but secluded enough for a getaway. It is perfect for a romantic getaway or family/friend time and we would gladly visit again!

Excellent overall experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. The setting and views of the cottage is breathtakingly beautiful. Very well fitted with loads of extras to spoil any guest, like fresh flowers, warm winter gowns, electrical blankets, excellent Nespresso coffee, clean and fresh linen. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Orange Grove Farm was super last minute as we were driving through Robertson and the team were so lovely at accommodating us! From the moment we arrived, we were looked after like royalty with every attention to detail being done at the best quality.
We went for beautiful walks on the farm, swam in the waterfalls and enjoyed every minute. Each cottage is so private that you feel you have the whole farm to yourself.
Our German Shepard, Lilly, did not want to leave!
The rooms are well equipped with amazing bathroom soaps, creams and bath products.
The grounds Manager popped in to light us a big fire in the evening, the lovely ladies delivered the most scrumptious breakfast the next morning & every aspect was just amazing!
Well done to Michelle and the Team!! We have already booked our next stay!

We stayed only 1 night in this wonderful place. We ordered a Braai basket in advance and that was waiting in the fridge for us. We were greeted warmly and professionally by Nadia and Stella and shown up to our cottage, Mosesberg.
The cottage itself was spacious and luxurious - flowers everywhere! The dressing gowns were a lovely touch!
This venue is classy and up market - every detail has been thought of, a perfect get away and total privacy is guaranteed.
My only regret is that we could not stay longer to take full advantage of all that is on offer at this wonderful place.

Thank you so much to Carlos and his team for an amazing few days spent at Orange Grove Farm. We all had such a great time relaxing and spending some much needed time in the outdoors! We stayed in Fineview cottage which definitely lives up to its name. Your efforts to ensure all Covid-19 practices where in place did not go unnoticed - the accommodation was spotlessly clean on arrival and all necessary steps were taken to ensure health and safety of both guests and your staff. Thanks so much and we look forward to returning soon to explore the other mountain trails!

What an absolutely perfect weekend hideaway! The cottage is very spacious and has absolutely ALL the amenities one could wish for, including fireplaces in each of the bedrooms. It's clean and serviced and has good quality linen. The kitchen is very well put together. It's super private and has it's own swimming pool and separate braai area. We didn't really need to leave at all. The staff are very friendly and the owner makes his own wine, which is quite delicious.
I would definitely recommend Orange Grove Farm and hope to return soon.

We had a wonderful stay at Orange Grove Farm. The cottage was beautiful, very clean and well presented. Fresh roses and rose petals in the bathrooms and bedrooms added an extra special touch. The cheese and meat platter plus Braai basket that we ordered were delivered on time, beautifully presented and tasted good too. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The views from the cottage were magnificent, with fabulous sunsets. We look forward to a future return. Thank you.

The cottage was pretty and clean and the views were really beautiful. But we had booked a spring special which was accommodation with breakfast included. We had been supplied with menus for breakfast, and our facilities which we could pre-book before our stay. On arrival at Orange Grove we were asked to settle the bill for our stay before evening being able to checkin to our room. The bill was a little high but we had chosen to have massages and a few other add ons so I though it was just a miscalculation on our end so settled the bill but also asked for a breakdown of what we were paying for, The receptions refused to show us our bill and just insisted we pay and then she would take us to our room. We had pre-booked massages for the next day however on when the day arrived we no longer felt like having the massage so I called reception to ask if we could cancel the booking and was told that the therapist they used to use no longer works there and we could not have got a massage anyway. We were not informed of this earlier despite pre-booking. When I realised we were not getting massages, I could not figure out why our bill was so high. So on checkout I insisted we see a copy of our bill and found out we were charged R1760 for a breakfast that was supposed to be free. After a very long and round about conversation with the receptionist, her boss eventually came out and said they would refund us for the breakfast. After three months of back and forth emails and phone calls, half of which were ignored we were refunded R579. When we asked about this we were told that is what their accounts say we are owed and if we want to be refunded more we should supply them with proof!!!!!!! I honestly would have loved my stay at this place if it had not been for the really poor service of the staff.

The tastefully furnished Mosesberg Cottage is located in a wonderful valley with a wonderful wiedeview. A paradise for "silence" -lovers as we are. The welcome was warm - we immediately felt very comfortable. The breakfast basket with fresh bread, fruits, yoghurt, ham and cheese was a big surprise. Free delivery at the morning!! Everything your heart desires. Everything was fine. Next time we'll stay longer to enjoy the peace.

We had 3 days at Orange Grove Farm, and I cannot praise it highly enough. The staff, facilities and location are all outstanding. We did use the chef service for a braai, and again the service was perfect, and the food prepared to the highest standard.

Finally, given all of the positive aspects of the location and staff, it represents outstanding value for money.

You can rely on their recommendation as they know their cottages best. We went alone once and with bigger kids and both times their recommendation was spot on

FineView Cottage has air conditioning. All the other cottages have Very high roofs and ceilings and are not affected by the heat. These have no air conditioning

Dear Juma We have four cottages that can accommodate four adults and all of them are unique with awesome views. However if you want total privacy I will suggest Delportshoop Cottage. I look forward to welcoming you to Orange Grove Farm in the near future. Regards Carlos
