This place is a gem , we were lucky enough to hear about it on our travels and from the very first contact straight away it was top rate. It’s hard to say all the excellent things except to say that Rolf and his wife have created something very special here . The staff are all engaging and Blessing the chef was personal in his approach , just a pity he supports Chelsea !!! The quality of everything at the Lodge is exceptional although the driveway up to it from leaving the road may be a little challenging it’s definitely worth it . You must go !

This is another of those gems you want to keep tucked away neatly and not share...... What an amazing destination. Valentine's Dinner was scrumptious. The hospitality received from the owners adds such a personal touch. Just a pity we didn't get to use the wood fired hot tub..... But we will be back 💕

What a gem! Difficult to describe as everything was great. From the first contact with the host until we left. Wonderful for a quiet - and I mean literally quiet - getaway. Great location with beautiful views, very clean and well kept cottages - great food - dinner and breakfast! Will definitely be visiting again!

Visiting Khanyisa Mountain Lodge is a wonderful experience, which I would highly recommend. The location is beautiful and peaceful, and the quality of the lodge is excellent. This was our second visit, and there will definitely be a third.

We had such a beautiful stay at khanyisa. It was exactly what he photos suggest. I stumbled upon it online and was in awe of how beautiful and remote it was. The location was actually even better than I expected. Very high up in the mountains which made looking at the 🌟 in the hot tub that night even more magical. The service was incredible. Very kind lovely staff and we even met the owner who made a point to meet us and say goodbye. An absolute gem! We stayed at one of the private self catering cabins . Only think I would change it to stay in the front cabin to get a better view all round. Otherwise everything was top notch. Felt like we were miles away from everything and only a 2 hour drive from cape town. The big bonus for me was the very long pool at the main lodge where I could to do some laps in the morning while watching the incredibly majestic mountain range all around me.

This city can get overwhelming and induce anxiety if one does not break away to reflect and regain your strength. Khanyisa was the perfect holiday for my husband and I. The property is absolutely beautiful and impeccable. A very modern room with insane views. Waking up to the beautiful green landscapes was a form of therapy. We spend a couple of hours in the hot tub and we honestly did not want to leave it. The food Keisha prepared was divine, the service Tindai provided made us feel at home. The owners were absolute darlings. That made the trip feel very personal. The hiking trail was a wholesome experience on the Saturday morning. My husband and I reflected and prayed. We will definitely be taking our kids back to experience it. Thank you so much to the Khanyisa Team for giving us an incredible experience.

I booked the whole lodge for my 60th birthday and 16 friends. If I could give any more than 5 stars I would do! From start to finish, the whole weekend was perfect. Tendai greeted us on our arrival and looked after us impeccably throughout the stay. Then Marisa and her lovely team cooked breakfast and dinner for us both days (from choosing the food to eating it was a joy :) . Finally the rooms and surroundings are first class and could not be faulted. I and my friends will certainly be back to Khanyisa, they have a winning formula! Thank you for a memorable birthday celebration!

Staying at Khanyisa is literally food for one's soul. The views are breathtaking; the oneness with nature is incredible. Despite some overindulging as people on holiday tend to do, we left feeling rejuvenated. We were a group of 12 adults celebrating a long-standing friend's birthday; treated to a 3 night stay at Khanyisa. The attention to detail in the rooms was a very pleasant surprise; on par with any city boutique lodge. The friendliness of the Management and staff was next level. Nothing was too much effort. Thank you to Marissa and the kitchen support team for the fantastic breakfasts, and to Rolf and Lizzie for your warm hospitality. Don't miss out on the Kolkol wood-fired tub experience, some offer vast views of the mountain ranges, vineyards, as well as the beauty of the Klein Karoo plains. We were treated to seeing a pair of duikers on an early morning walk. This is a very special spot!

We stayed at the lodge and what an experience! Nothing we requested was too much of a ask and all was done in a friendly manner with smiles all over. I will most definitely be back and can recommend Khanyisa to all. The rooms are modern and lack nothing, the views are stunning and the pol pol hot tubs is out of this world. We enjoyed a memorable breakfast and left Khanyisa with smiles and a bit of sadness that our trip came to an end. We will see you soon again - THANK YOU!!
