The rooms are really nicely decorated and clean with crisp clean linen. However, the bathroom is open to the room, so is the toilet which gives no privacy unfortunately. For us it was a bit uncomfortable. It was a very hot weekend in Robertson and the rooms could definitely do with an aircon, the fan on the ceiling and the standing fan did not offer enough respite with the heat. Parking is a bit of a problem. You have to drive up the curb, which would be difficult with a lower car and it does not feel secure as there is no gate to ensure your car and belongings are safe. If you are later than other guests, you end up with a bit of a problem in with parking. The next morning there was a face print on the passenger front window - so somewhere during the night someone did look into the car, that made me a bit nervous. It was also really loud the next morning with staff watching a very loud TV program and chatting very loudly. We could hear this in our room, with the door closed. It is a really beautiful property, but for the price in comparison to other options in Robertson, I expected more. …
Beauty and bliss. Make this a stop if you are traveling through the area or want to get away. Even just staying in one of their different room options is worth it. Plenty to do in and around town but make this your home while visiting.
The decor might not be to everyone's taste but the accommodation was clean, comfortable and interesting. The bedroom was smaller than average but there was large bathroom and lovely shower. The outside common areas have a small plunge pool, some loungers and a separate braai area, and the indoor common lounge is well furnished and comfortable. Its rounded off by a very friendly and helpful manager Danian who was on site to welcome us, give us some local travel tips and to handover breakfast vouchers to use at the 4 Cousins restaurant. Worth visiting.
We had a family celebration at the property. Upon arrival the property was very neat and had all the amenities you could possibly neat. Nothing was too much trouble for the host. House was tastefully decorated. Perfect for a weekend away!
Nice place in Central Robertson to explore the many vineyards in the area. Pleasant outside area with splash pool. Friendly, helpful owner with a lot of idea's for the future. Modern rooms, (self catering: Zoe) but a bit small. No cupboards.
