The host, Danian was awesome from the start of our booking, making contact and receiving us at the venue on arrival. Giving us a personal tour of the property and engaging with our kids to make them feel at home too.

An excellent place when you in Robertson to use as basecamp after visiting the wine farms and other local attractions in the area during the day and relaxing at the braai and pool area in the evenings.

This accomodation is perfect for couples, small families and foreigners looking for a clean and classy touch of relaxation after a day filled with exciting wine farms hopping in Robertson.

It was a really great experience and we will definately be back again.

Beauty and bliss. Make this a stop if you are traveling through the area or want to get away. Even just staying in one of their different room options is worth it. Plenty to do in and around town but make this your home while visiting.

The decor might not be to everyone's taste but the accommodation was clean, comfortable and interesting. The bedroom was smaller than average but there was large bathroom and lovely shower.
The outside common areas have a small plunge pool, some loungers and a separate braai area, and the indoor common lounge is well furnished and comfortable.
Its rounded off by a very friendly and helpful manager Danian who was on site to welcome us, give us some local travel tips and to handover breakfast vouchers to use at the 4 Cousins restaurant.
Worth visiting.

Although you can't fault the decor and outdoor area there is plenty that still needs attention.

The outside bell doesn't work (which we didn't know) so we stood in the blazing sun waiting and hoping someone would come out. I called both cell numbers. One just rang and one went to voicemail.
I also emailed to say we are outside and still haven't received a response even though we checked out already.

The parking isn't secure so you park at your own risk.

The rooms we had booked looked onto one of the main roads so you don't really want to open the doors. There are no windows in the room or bathroom.

They say the rooms are air-conditioned but it's actually just a ceiling fan and a standing fan. With the temperatures you experience in robertson the rooms feel like a hot box with the fans only blowing around hot air.
And again... there's no windows.

Although the rooms are beautifully decorated they are not cleaned very well. The dust on the fan was insane, the tea station hadn't been dusted and the layer of dust on the mirror was quite evident.
Our friends next door to us even had a dry chicken bone by their door behind the curtain- which clearly indicates that they don't clean properly. See for yourself on the pictures.

We will not be recommending this establishment to anyone.

We had a lovely stay for 2 nights, which was not long enough! Egbert is a very attentive host and communication was great prior to and during our stay. The family suite was well equipped and it was great to be able to have the lights on during loadshedding. Our two young children loved the splash pool which was a refreshing cool down after a hot summer’s day exploring Robertson and surrounds. We hope to return again soon!

Absolutely stunning property and decor. The unit is very well equipped and Danian is a wonderful host. The House of Pinardt is very positioned very well to explore Robertson on foot or by car, but also a stunning guesthouse to relax at.

The rooms are really nicely decorated and clean with crisp clean linen. However, the bathroom is open to the room, so is the toilet which gives no privacy unfortunately. For us it was a bit uncomfortable. It was a very hot weekend in Robertson and the rooms could definitely do with an aircon, the fan on the ceiling and the standing fan did not offer enough respite with the heat. Parking is a bit of a problem. You have to drive up the curb, which would be difficult with a lower car and it does not feel secure as there is no gate to ensure your car and belongings are safe. If you are later than other guests, you end up with a bit of a problem in with parking. The next morning there was a face print on the passenger front window - so somewhere during the night someone did look into the car, that made me a bit nervous. It was also really loud the next morning with staff watching a very loud TV program and chatting very loudly. We could hear this in our room, with the door closed. It is a really beautiful property, but for the price in comparison to other options in Robertson, I expected more.

Wow, what a wonderful weekend we had at House of Pinardt! Egbert was an amazing host and was always available to assist us if needed. We had booked the whole house for my family to stay in for my son's wedding and it lent itself perfectly to a family or large group booking. Egbert even made his beautiful braai facility available to our son's wedding party to use for a braai, due to their accommodation not being available for this as a result of the floods. I would love to stay here again with a group of friends where we could enjoy the pool and braai area ourselvles.

It has been really nicely renovated and redecorated and pool is lovely when it's so hot in Robertson.

Unfortunately it was really hot and uncomfortable in the room - there aren't any windows, besides one above the door and you either need to open the front door, which is right next to the toilet and where other guests walk past to their rooms or the patio door, which opens onto the street, with palisade fencing between you and people walking past. An aircon would have made such a difference!

I also didn't expect the toilet to be completely open - no door or even a curtain between the bathroom and bedroom - you can literally see the other person sitting on the toilet while lying in bed. A bit awkward even if you've been together for a few years.

House of Pinardt was the highlight of our trip. Egbert is truly an amazing host. He brings a sense of calm which is what House of Pinardt gives in its entirety. The best stay we’ve had in a long while.
