We are a quite country backpackers situated in the town of Robertson.Our accommodation ranges from large dormitory and double rooms to luxury en-suite garden rooms. We have 3 communal lounges and a wonderful garden to enjoy so there is always a place to find a quite spot, so it never seems crowded. The kitchen is well equipped and meals may be ordered on request.We also offer River Rafting and Wine Tours which must be booked in advance.

I have stayed in a few backpackers and have to say that this backpackers comes out tops . Everything was better than expected. went with a group of 10. Had the best time . Sat around the braai every night. Spent a lot of time in the pool. High recommend.

We had the best time at the Robertson Backpackers! Loved our en suite room - it was quiet and cosy and had everything we needed. The communal kitchen is well stocked and includes a handy honesty bar. We received a very warm welcome from the owners, who helped us book a last minute wine tour (which was excellent - a brilliant day out). The owners are lovely and really knowledgeable and helped us plan the next steps in our travels, for which we are very grateful! Thank you!!

I found myself in a position where I unexpectedly had to stay overnight in Robertson. Booked into Robertson Backpackers and it was so pleasant that I decided to stay the weekend as well. Everything pristine and all the facilities one could wish for. I am certainly booking in again next month when I have to be in Robertson.

We enjoyed our stay but felt like it was too expensive if you consider what you get. We have stayed in great self-catering units with no shared facilities for less. Compared to other backpackers the facilities were good but compared to self- catering units the price was too high.

Hi Emsie. Thank you for your review. Nowhere on our marketing do we advertise our Garden ensuites as self-catering. Our garden ensuites have tea & coffee making facilities only. There is a large well equipped communal kitchen in the main house for backpackers to use, should they wish to self cater & we have made it very clear on all our marketing. We pride ourselves on having lots of communal areas, so backpackers can socialize with each other. There is a braai area, pool area, reading room, TV room, large kitchen & dining area & the chilled-out Moroccan Room where we have an in-door fire place for those cold winter nights. The emphasis is on socializing, and meeting other travellers. Sharing tips and advise on your travels while travelling through our wonderful country.
