What a wonderful two night's stay at The Karoo Lodge. The room was huge and airy, and the bed was so comfortable. We loved Looking out into the garden. Breakfast was delicious and our hosts were so welcoming and hospitable. Thank you! PS. We've never stayed in such a spotless establishment. Everything was super clean and fresh.

We ate here on Friday 22 Sept in a very informal cozy setting.,The host immediately let us felt at home. The menu is small and we had three choices for the main menu, whole lamb neck, sirloin steak and ostrich steak. 8 of us chose the lamb neck and 1 the sirloin steak. We were all in agreement, this was the best ever dining experience we ever has. How is such a gem not one of the top ten dining places in South Africa. The desert, two choices, excellent both of them. I cant wait to go back.

Eating here is an experience, you are welcomed in by Elsebe (hope I got that right), the eating room is very cozy and welcoming, the menu is not huge but the food is cooked to perfection and the portions are very generous. I had the Karoo lamb chop which was great and the vegetables were very well cooked. My wife had the ostrich and cleaned her plate! Geroge is a very good cook and comes out to make sure you are enjoying everything. One of the most memorable meals of our trip.
