Misled into thinking the cottage booked was in the African Relish property which is central snd within east walking distance to most places if interest. We viewed the property on arrival and cancelled our stay. Very disappointing. Unkempt, tatty and unprepared for our visit.

We enjoyed the stay very much. The place was nice, clean and tasteful. The bathrooms excellent. It was a pity that we had a few load shedding hours, without any light/WiFi. Could help to invest a bit in that.

We stopped over on route to Leopard Trail. The cottage is not on the Main Street which makes it very appealing. But still close enough to walk to restaurants etc. It’s beautiful and comfortable. Attention to detail and the staff exceptionally friendly and efficient. Would love to spend a week there. We loved it. Thank you!

We stayed in the "Akkadis" cottage. It was extremely welcoming and peaceful. We also did a cooking course with African Relish and had a wonderful morning with chef Hendrey who taught us new skills and gave us tips and guidelines for future use. A wonderful and unique experience.

I loved my 3 week stay in Doringbos Cottage.. The cottage is simple and beautiful, spacious and a real home from home. Great to have the fire place and the electric blanket to get a cozy bed ready. The natural garden was balm to my soul.. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you Hess , for your caring help..

What great fun and informative cooking. Hands on preparation and cooking. Already tried one of the dishes at home and it worked perfectly. Try and join with a small group so as to have the hands on experience. Already looking at a follow up visit for a different course

We would stay there again. The wooden floors are both charming but also a little noisy at the same time if you have small kids. It is great that they leave fire wood and the place is very well decorated.

The character cottage is on the edge of town in a beautifully peaceful spot, 2 minute drive from the centre of P.A. We loved the quirky nature of the cottage, from the pink stoep to the tongue-in-cheek art. The cottage was very clean, well insulated, safe, and comfortable. We loved our stay at Akkedis!

the cottage ist furnished with taste and is very cosy and comfortable. everything in prince albert is in walking ditance from the cottage, especially the restaurant with its cook that creates strange sounding(for exaple: dim sum with grabouw boerewors) but exelent tasting food.

A special place in Prince Albert. Tasteful decor in a calm and peaceful spot. Very much enjoyed an African Relish cookery course too. Pool to cool off in Karoo heat. On the outskirts of town so quiet but a short journey in to centre.
