Delightful cottage, tastefully restored and very well appointed. Friendly owners and so enjoyed a braai on the patio. Spacious bedroom with a well appointed bathroom. Easy access to walking around town and really enjoyed our stay. We will be back for a longer period.

No Covid protocol in place at Ta Mala's on arrival. Can't get hold of the owner/manager when needed. Towels for the bathroom had a terrible smell, could not use it. Sleeper couch was super uncomfortable. Sewerage system was blocked during our stay. It was a very unpleasant stay. Left a day earlier which was paid for and owner refused to refund me.

Wow, when we booked this as a stopover on our way back home we did not expect such an amazing place full of history and some amazing restoration. This place really puts the cherry on top of our last day travel back home. The place is very well designed and makes amazing use of all the space and has great beds and linen. The outside private braai place was well enjoyed. We would love to go back and spend more time at this great place and enjoy some days exploring the surrounds of Prince Albert.

Very tastefully restored cottage, extremely well appointed and equipped by loving, caring hosts. Excellent bed linen, great bathroom, huge shower, piping hot water with good pressure..... perfect stop over or base to explore this charming town in the most beautiful countryside. We will certainly stay there again.....

The cottage offered attention to detail. Our every need, from soft gowns, to filter coffee & plunger to electric blanket & many more were attended to. Beautiful to see that the restoration was done keeping so much of the history of the building. Small but spacious with a lovely bathroom. Absolutely loved watching the sunrise, through the bottles in the window, from a comfortable chair. Close to main street & walking distance from restaurants.
