We had the most wonderful 3 days at Dennehof and would have loved to stay longer. Inga and Albert are so friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They make fantastic recommendations on what to do in the area, where to eat etc and will make all your reservations on your behalf. We were in the Cottage which was so lovely and spacious, beautifully decorated but still in keeping with the old farm style. A very comfy bed, high quality linen and towels. The daily breakfast was delicious and if you have to leave before breakfast Inga will make you the most delicious cheese and ham toastie. For what you get the rate that is charged is very reasonable and great value. This will be the only guesthouse we will stay in Prince Albert and hope to be back next year. This was our second time at Dennehof and as great as the last stay was, the new owners Albert and Inga have taken it up a notch! Its a beautiful guest house with everything one could ask for, its really well maintained and absolutely spotless and the breakfasts are amazing, but most of all the owners are unbelievably caring and attentive. We stayed in the Wagon Shed which is a lovely room. Price Albert is a delightful town with very nice restaurants and some lovely walks on the Koppie.

Just the most fabulous stay. No detail is overlooked, in a combination of luxury and authenticity. You couldn’t ask for nicer or more helpful hosts. Breakfast is served in the most idyllic setting, and the sourdough bread is to die for. Treat yourselves - you won’t regret it!

What a gem!!! Prince Albert has many fine places to stay and we have tried many of them to consistently high satisfaction. We were hosting dear friends from UK of an extensive SA road trip so wanted somewhere "special" for this overnight stay in Prince Albert. We struck Gold as Dennehof is exceedingly special! Attention to detail, exceptional quality, beautiful appointments, gorgeous setting, welcoming and friendly hosts and well trained staff set this Guesthouse apart. Our friends were overwhelmed and we were delighted with our stay. No doubt as to where we will stay on future visits to this wonderful town. Thank you for making our stay so special.

We stayed here for one night in the quaint town. The owners who are super friendly gave us some great recommendations for our stay and booked us into the Yellow house dinner. The accommodation was lovely with a colonial retro feel. The beds were super comfy, making it hard for me to get up and enjoy the lovely breakfast of granola and then probably the best pancakes I’ve ever had. All washed down with juice and a cappuccino enjoyed outside under the trees in the garden. Can’t recommend this place enough for relaxing or to enjoy the mountains biking and walking.

We booked the Kitchen Suite at Dennehof on our way to P.E. from Cape Town. We were warmly greeted by Inga, Albert, Ferdinand, and Ella after the five hour drive. and Inga immediately booked a restaurant reservation for our evening meal. The guesthose is a converted 19th century farmhouse which is comfortable with modern conveniences. Our suite had a lounge with a working fireplace, a bedroom, a large bathroom, and a charming kitchen located in the main house. The property also has an outdoor deck for sundowners, a pool, a sauna, and safe parking. Inga and Albert briefed us at breakfast on all of the attractions that Prince Albert has to offer including the Souk, art galleries, fig farm, dairy, and excellent restaurants. Prince Albert is an authentic farming community that also is home to an International contingent that makes the place laid back and cool. We can only say good things about our stay at Dennehof guest house. Albert greeted us on arrival and showed us our room and the property. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We stayed in the wagonshed suite and really appreciated the attention to detail, from the soaps and lotions, to the luxurious linens and bathrobes, and the cookie treats on arrival. The decor is very tasteful and the bath outside under the stars was a treat! Albert gave us all the information on the local restaurants which was well received. Breakfast in the orangery was delicious! Inga chatted with us about the day ahead and we realised that we should definitely have booked for two nights! This would also have given us time to use the sauna and plunge pool... Without question we will be staying at Dennehof on our next visit to Prince Albert, not just for the peaceful atmosphere and incredible sense of friendship that Inge and Albert have created, but also for Ferdinand of course! …

Beautiful accommodation and such friendly and hospitable hosts, staff and doggies...we will definitely be back. The breakfasts were out of this world ! The decor was beautiful and our suite was spacious and very comfortable. The location was ideal and very close to town.
