We spent nine days here. Bev was an outstanding host. She made sure that all your needs were met. We used the studio, which was clean and very comfortable.Bev gave good advise on areas to visit as well as restaurants to eat at. Could find nothing wrong with the b&b and would definitely recommend.

We stayed at this B&B in May 2015 and was very pleased with our choice. The property is spacious and has a very homey feel and the studio we stayed in was very neat and well presented. We had everything we needed and the bed was probaly the most comfiest bed i have ever slept in!
The owner was very welcoming and was quick to offer her services for anything we needed. Very helpful and told us all the places we could visit in Cape Town which was nice as this was my first time visiting.
I would definately recommened this B&B if you are looking for a relaxed place to stay and only a few minutes drive from the beaches and the stunning surroundings of Cape Town. We have friends and family to stay here next time they visit.

Lovely B&B at a beautiful spot in Hout Bay. Only 15 minutes drive, via a scenic road with great views along the coast, to Table mountain and 20 minutes from the Waterfront (most parkings only R10 per 4 hours!). Only 5 min to the great beach of Llandudno and even less to Hout Bay beach. Cheapman's Peak drive starts in Hout Bay so it is really an excellent spot to visit the entire peninsula.
We stayed with 2 adult and 2 young kids for over a week in the cottage. Everything mentioned on the internet site is there. 2 nicely decorated bedrooms with great beds. Well equipped kitchen and a luxurious bathroom. Outside you have enough private space with your own "dining" table. There you will also find your private jacuzzi. Located in such a way that you can enjoy the afternoon / early evening sun while using it. On the premises you will find a heated pool, playground, private parking and a breakfast/braai area with a roof on top.
The B&B is run by a very friendly couple who will provide you with tips, if needed, for exploring the region. Both really know how to make you feel comfortable. They give you the feeling of being home, away from home. They even babysat our 2 kids one night so we were able you have dinner in one of the best restaurants of the region. Located in Hout Bay!

We found our room small, dark with no view, which was disappointing. The name makes you think you are ar Chapman's Peak, but you are far from it. Our host was fantastic, we felt she was a real friend when we left.

The set up is really nice. The small private garden attached to the suite created a relaxing space. The room itself was clean, well kept & well appointed. The set up is for self catering but with breakfast available. The pool area was great for relaxing either in the sunshine or in the shade of the wind house. The proprietors were both very welcoming & engaging. Their staff were friendly & efficient. The location is just a short drive to the town's amenities or to other beaches It was a perfect stay for us. We will be back!

We spent 4 summer nights in the Studio Deluxe with our 2 children aged 3 and 5, who slept on the couch. We loved the pool as well as the proximity of Hout Bay beach and all main attractions in Cape Town. Bev went out of our way to help us with all our practical needs and even drove me to the nearest hospital herself when I was unwell, so my husband could stay with the kids. This was the 2nd time we stayed in her B&B and I would warmly recommend it to anyone going to Cape Town and looking for a quiet, beautifully located and comfortable stay and a warm welcome!

Stayed at Chapman's Peak Bed and Breakfast for five nights in December 2017. Excellent location for travelling from Cape Town, Hout Bay and Simon's Town. Bev and her family are extremely helpful with local knowledge and the property is modern and well maintained. The poolside area is ideal for relaxing after a day of touring in the area. Comes highly recommended, Geoff & Fiona.

A wonderful bed and breakfast with attentive staff that goes the extra mile to please and make your stay comfortable. The king size bed was nice to come back to and hard to leave except for the a la carte breakfast by the pool.

we enjoyed a four night stay at the property in November 2016. The cottage has all usual amenities plus access to a jacuzzi and small pool. We are a family of four and the cottage was a bit on the small side for us. There is secure off road parking. Hout Bay beach and shops and restaurants are a five minute drive away - too far to walk. The centre of Cape Town is 20 minutes to 1/2 an hour away. Hout Bay is very beautiful and we enjoyed the market and the boat trip to Seal Island. Bev is an excellent host. The cottage was cleaned every day and she allowed us to stay later on the last day as our flight home was in the evening.

All within a 5km range.
"Depends on with how many you're travelling and how tall you are. If you're+1.90mtr, best to choose the room with the king size bed."Read full review
"If you want quiet but still a good view, choose a room on the penthouse floor of the new wing. If that is too expensive, do what we did, choose a room with a 'mountain' view - if you look sideways from your balcony - and enjoy the view from the terrace!"Read full review
