Excellent rooms and the staff can't do enough for you. We weren't feeling too well on the first day and they ordered us a pizza from the Italian restaurant a stone's throw from the hotel and brought us plates, cutlery and napkins. They even washed and ironed for us. The position of the hotel is perfect. You can get to...

Interesting venue with only a few rooms. Perfect if you are looking for a comfortable room just off the high street, as a base for one, maximum 2 nights. Lacking outdoor space and a pool which would have been great given how hot Franschhoek can get. Room lovely but missing some essentials like water.

Wonderful place to stay. Very modern and spacious. Also very laid back and small. 6 rooms by my count on upper level. Breakfast doesn't start till 8 but were very willing to accommodate earlier breakfasts for us. Not there to watch tv but tv operation a little weird. Nice fan to circulate air. Wonderful tip to soak in (didn't use)....

Hotel is located in the Centre close to good restaurants and sights. Rooms are are comfortable and high end with excellent views that one would appreciate in Franschhoek. The hotel reception area which doubles as a breakfast room is functional and what you would expect to find at a business hotel but lacks ambiance. Also of moderate irritation was the...

The bed and cushions are very comfortable, the amenity is good, free good wines in the fridge. The room is modern and practical. Breakfast is ok. The view from the window is very nice. It's very convenient and quiet apart from the dog at a neighbouring property who barks in the morning. Other than that it's a super location.

We stayed 5 nights in this hotel and for us we felt it was a mistake. The Service was good and the room was modern and comfortable but the hotel was more like a motel more suitable for a one or two night stay. The owner has put tables and chairs in an outdoor area but this space is little...

I'm so glad I chose Franschhoek Boutique Hotel for the two nights we were in town. The hotel is quite small with only 6 rooms, but it has amenities of a larger hotel. The reception area is really nicely appointed, and there is an outdoor area adjacent to it with tables and chairs (a floor below the rooms). Their breakfast...

This is a little very trendy place to stay, rooms are very "cool" and quirky. Breakfast is excellent as are the reception staff. The only downside is that you have to carry your luggage up four flights of stairs, that's fine if you travel light but not if you have heavy luggage.

Llewellyn the hotel owner/manager was helpful from the moment we made our reservation - arranging transfers to and from the airport, booking local restaurants, suggesting the best vineyards to visit on the Wine Tram etc. But what really sets him apart is the trouble he took to ensure that a pair of prescription glasses we inadvertently left behind were couriered...

If you are planning to stay in Franschhoek this is the perfect location. It is close to the wine tram ( a must do activity when visiting Franschhoek) and all the shops and restaurants. The Manager Llewellyn is so helpful, both before we arrived in answering emails and making suggestions and when we stayed. We needed some laundry doing whilst...
