I had to find a pet-friendly stay in Franschhoek as family of mine came to visit after a herding dog trial event nearby. The hosts were very accommodating and clear on what the parameters were. We had a comfortable stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The cottage was everything we would have wanted and very comfortable.

Stunning location. Country living at its BEST! Beautiful scenery, views spectacular. Pity it rained the whole time, but we will definitely be back soon to enjoy the farm/horses/outdoor hot tub etc. And so conveniently close to the centre of town! FABULOUS!

Very rustic and extremely basic accommodation, decorated on a shoestring budget. Not well insulated and therefore freezing cold at night, and the tin roof very noisy when it rains. In need of some TLC in places and could do with toilet/bathroom doors. Location is lovely for the gorgeous views but there is not much there if you want to be able to access restaurants etc. Not suitable for all people due to the basic setup. I would not stay again.

The unit was lovely and clean. Was our daughters 18th getaway with a friend, and they loved the Hot Tub. Lovely open spaces and walks to go on. The REAL bonus was that we could take our beloved dog with us and the host is really friendly and accommodating. Thank you

Spent 2 nights in this lovely cottage. Hosts had really made an effort to give the place its own style. Everything worked very well (unless there was loadshedding!) Excellent location and lovely to drive next to vines, see horses and have such a wonderful view of the mountains. Sunsets and Stars at night were spectacular. It was very windy while we were there, but nothing hosts could do about that!

I have no words how beautiful it was. Amazing views on Franschhoek, fantastic surroundings and great cottage. One of the best accommodations I have ever been. The whole family enjoyed it very much and we recommend it to all who would like to have something exceptional.

A wonderful stay in charming cottage Peaceful beautiful surroundings, we spent lovely time exploring the grounds, barbecuing at night watching the sunset on the mountains. The host went above and beyond to help us during our stay and to make sure we had everything we needed. Would absolutely love to stay again sometime if we get the opportunity

Four of us enjoyed staying at one of the cottages. The views are incredible. Very close to town. A bit rustic but we still enjoyed a lot. Was nice to be up in the hills. They have horse riding options. We didn't participate .

Good morning Sonja We have just checked out from Scott's cottage and I just wanted to thank you for the most enjoyable stay. It was my husband Darren and my first time in Franschhoek and staying at Courcheval made our time here just so much better. Your cottages are so tastefully decorated and your staff are lovely. I enjoyed walking around on your farm. Gosh it's beautiful! We have very close friends who are into horses, so it was great sending her pics and sharing some of your success with them, and Scott of Africa. We will definitely LOVE to come back one day. This is a beautiful place just outside of Franschhoek. The units are cozy and well equipped. The manager checked in during our stay to ensure everything was still in order. We enjoyed every minute. Will definitely visit again.
