We stayed at La Petite Ferme for a week and were married overlooking the vineyard. We stayed in the 'honeymoon suite' while our parents stayed in the cabins. Both had picture-perfect views. We loved our room so much that we chose to have the wedding on the porch! The staff went above the call of duty to really made us...

The view from our suite was breathtaking and we were both awestruck. It was so easy to chill and relax beside the plunge pool with a nice cold drink and look out over the vineyard and mountain pass. The staff were very helpful and friendly, they booked Reubens restaurant and ferried us there and back which made for a thoroughly...

In principle La Petite Ferme should be a no-brainer if the other reviews are anything to go by. However, let's deal with the restaurant first - 200+ covers at lunch when there are only 5 rooms means lots of people are coming on tours, organised & bussed in / small coaches. I think the guides' food is paid for by...

We stayed here for 3 nights in Nov 07. The rooms are in fact small bungalows which are quite well fitted out , each with a veranda and a plunge pool - great views across the valley. Guests must try to appreciate that this is a working vineyard and restarant in addition to being an upmarket bed and breakfast. We...

A great location about a mile from Franschoek town centre with stunning views down, and across, the valley encompassing various mountains and the town itself. Although you can walk into town during the day (15-20 mins) we used a taxi or drove in the evening. There are five suites and ours was one of the 'normal' type. The room was...

My wife and I booked to stay at La Petite Ferme for one night to get away from the stress of the city. We had wanted an upmarket b&b type hotel and LPF fitted the bill perfectly. We booked our stay in the Vista room as the deluxe was not available. We were a bit apprehensive, after reading some of...

We stayed 4 nights in their Vista Suite. The room was lovely - comfortable, well-serviced, peaceful and private. However, it's set apart from the other rooms and is nearest to the restaurant, so you have to negotiate lots of garden steps (which is tricky for ladies in heels when coming home in the dark after dinner) and you get to...

We stayed here in November 2006 and we would highly recommend staying here - it is the most wonderful place I have ever stayed and I have been recommending it to friends and family ever since our return. We stayed in the Deluxe suite for our first night and it was well worth the cost - I could not believe...

A beautiful hotel with fabulous food. We stayed in the Deluxe accomodation, which is probably a good option because it is not beside the road. This really is a special place. Our room was perfect. If you want to eat lunch book far ahead, it is very popular. We ate a very late lunch and then had a tray of...

What a place! Unfortunately, we could only get availability for one night but we liked it so much they nearly ended up throwing us out!!! (We also stayed in the Fransch Country House and Villas in one of their suites and hated it - far too faux for us) We stayed in the Deluxe Suite and were bowled over...huge, well...
