We stayed at Le Petit Ferme for 2 nights as part of a self-drive honeymoon, and in many ways we wished we had stayed a couple of nights extra. The suite that we stayed in had the most gorgeous of views, and if only the...More
We stayed in one of the lodges, Fuzzy Wuzzy. Absolutely lovely. The decor was beautiful and the views panoramic. Breakfast was in the main part of the vineyard and was lovely, again with panoramic views. John gave us a complimentary tour of the vineyard/cellar and...More

Sorry it has taken me a few days to respond - I think it's probably a 2-3 mile walk into town and the wine train is almost smack in the middle of town. And it's not that easy of a walk; the first hall is along a pretty busy road with lots of fast traffic. I think it would be easier and safer to take a cab. The hotel office is closed starting early evening so it can be a little hard to arrange for a cab unless you reserve it early. It's a great hotel, just not that convenient to the downtown area.
