Shambles from start to finish. We were due to be there for three nights. We book a lodge and a suite and there’s couldn’t have put us further away from each other if they tried. The thatched lodge has no sound insulation so noise was a massive issue. The curtain over the bathroom window didn’t fit so people could see in! On the first night a dog started barking very loudly non stop from 23.55 until 00.30 no one in the hotel knew what to do so it was just tough. It woke everyone one up ……..We left first thing in the morning. The breakfast was ok but staff training seemingly non existent!

Safely tucked away deep in the valley is Le Franshoek Hotel & Spa. It's more than just a place for sleeping. The location of the establishment says it all. Besides being a beautiful hotel, I strongly believe that it's the staff members who makes an establishment like that a jewel of Franshoek. Much appreciation to Liezel at front desk, Reza and Jeandre in Food & Beverage and Management. Regards, The Bandas. #Room10

We visited the hotel over a long weekend. Beautiful setting and the bedrooms are large with all the necessary spoils ! Loved the cost gowns and slippers. We had a balcony with a stunning view of the Franschoek mountains. My only complaint is the service. For a premium price and star rating hotel I would expect more. The restaurant service was lacking.
