This was a Beautiful hotel, beautiful grounds and wonderful staff. The onsite Monneaux restaurant was also fabulous - wonderful staff and impeccable food. Breakfast was very good with hot options available and we also had a very good massage on site too

Hotel's Favourite
Had a great stay with our 2 kids ,we initially booked 2 rooms but upon arrival we were upgraded to 2 villa suites ,we loved many things about our rooms ,the heated bathroom floor ,the fireplace ,the turn down service with hot water bottles at night ,the AC which can be both cold and also hot to warm up the room ,the location of the hotel was central . Breakfast was a spread & hot dishes can be ordered a la carte ,the hotel grounds are beautiful and the service from everyone was great . We also tried room service from Monneaux restaurant which was very good . There are 2 swimming pools one of them heated and a spa which unfortunately we did not try . Highly recommended to explore the wine lands. Thank you everyone for a great stay Suzan & Khaldoun

From the arrival and the friendly efficient ladies at check in to the porter taking our luggage to our room, the service was exceptional - probably the best we have ever experienced. The grounds are stunningly beautiful and maintained and the rooms well appointed. Well positioned to walk into Franschoek town or to get to the Franschoek Tram. Would highly recommend

The most relaxing, peaceful & fantastic stay & was such a great start to our holiday. We were lucky enough to enjoy four nights in a villa suite, which was superb. The staff were so friendly & accommodating. A complimentary shuttle service is available on request which runs into town until 11pm. The food in the Monneaux restaurant was excellent. We would look to stay here again when next in Franschhoek.

We stayed at the hotel as our first stop from capetown and had a villa room. It was amazing - with its own sitting room, bedroom and enormous bathroom, plus two balconies. It was well equipped with lots of toiletries, water, tea & coffee etc. The pool area is lovely and peaceful, and there are supplies of water and home made lemonade available. The staff are incredibly helpful and so kind. The hotel runs a shuttle service into Franschoek - its just a bit too far out of town to walk it, but the shuttle system works really well. They will also do longer journeys if requested. We ate in Moneaux. Wonderful food, beautifully presented and a very good wine list. We felt extremely well looked after & it was great way to start our trip. If you're a golfer, Paarl & Stellenbosch are within easy reach.

We have recently experienced one of the luxury Villa suites. Overall I think we made a good choice. When visiting the area we now appreciate the vast choice and its tempted to stay at a winery and am sure there are benefits of that too. However we liked the location here and whilst not immediately in the direct town of Francshhoek it was very close. They also offer a comp shuttle service to take you to the tram station or into the Village/town We ate dinner once at the restaurant and it was good. Breakfast was good too The massage/treatment facilty is subcontracted but they booked for me and the experience was very good Other feedback would be whilst the rooms were lovely you could see that certain items would be needing maintenance soon Our view was that any slight issues were overcome by outstanding customer service. Thank you

This establishment is far from five star luxury. A Christmas holiday gone wrong! And no attempt to please an unhappy client. We arrived two hours early and were greeted by a terribly unfriendly manager, she was uncertain if the hotel could assist us with a Christmas Day dinner at their restaurant. The waiters were not familiar with pescatarian dietary requirements. The manager insulted me and called me aside to say that accommodation was not paid when it was done so a month in advance. Unit 18 has a horrible stench of raw sewage. The GM Carmen was informed about my experience, I have yet to receive some sort of compensation, highly unlikely. An overpriced 2 star hotel!!

So the reviews of this place were great but the pictures don’t do it justice. Beautiful property! The views from the room and the pool are some of the best we’ve been around. The suite had a fireplace etc and was large and regal. Staff went above and beyond to organize rides, give us more water when requested, etc. Breakfast in the courtyard was tasty and fresh. As others have mentioned, this hotel being “out of town” isn’t really accurate. Super short shuttle or mile walk and you’re right there. We saw a few hotels in town and would choose this 10/10 times.

This hotel is breathtaking from the beautiful surroundings upon arrival, rooms all beautifully decorated and additional luxuries throughout. Staff were wonderful and the shuttle service is excellent, thank you so much. We wish we had stayed longer and will definitely be returning. Highlights of the owl and her two little ones in one of the trees 💗
