We had a nice stay at the guesthouse. Very friendly and helpful staff . Nice and decent rooms. Very good breakfast.
Rather small swimming pool an lack of enough deckchairs according to the number of guests that can stay on the premises.

Gorgeous private rooms surrounded by the most gorgeous views. Beds are comfortable and incredibly warm. Food and staff excellent. A comfortable and luxurious stay at an affordable rate. The garden and pool are beautifully maintained.

Great stay at Droom. We stayed 4 nights in room 6 and the place was perfect. Beautiful grounds, incredible Mountain View’s(sunsets were spectacular!) nice pool and friendly and helpful staff, which starts with Suzette. Only about a 5min drive into Franschhoek and close to many fine wineries. We were in SA for a month and this place provided the best value and overall experience of all the guesthouses we stayed in. Highly recommend and hope to return some day.

This guesthouse is beautiful. Rooms are large, with good quality linen and towels. Some units have hot tubs. They unfortunately with 3 powerbreaks per day, have no solar power or a generator. We stayed in two different units. In both of the units the aircons didn't work well and with the 12 pm powerbreak it was even worse and we didn't sleep well. We arranged prior, a 7am early breakfast as we had to drive 1400km. It wasn't ready and the kitchen staff was extremely annoyed and unfriendly. Another shocking situation was that on day 1 we stayed in the flagship chalet with artificial grass, 6 feet walls and a private back entrance. Check out is at 11hoo. While us girls were still in underwear at 8 am, the gardener came through the back entrance to sweep the grass. Totally unnecessary and a shocking intrusion in our privacy. Thank you Suzette for the excellent way in which you organized the delivery of my insulin I forgot in the main kitchen fridge. Another downfall is that the rooms don't have fridges. That was extremely inconvenient. If you book a garden chalet it's your luck if you don't have loud guests. On night 2 we did stargazing but eventually went inside as our neighbors were very noisy. Another downfall is that this guesthouse is situated near the very busy road leading to Franschhoek so inevitably there is traffic noise all the time.

We were welcomed very kindly by Robson who helped us for the rest of the evening.
Also the rest of the team was always very friendly.
The free room upgrade was a pleasant surprise.
While we enjoyed a light meal and of course a duvel of the barrel, the hot tube was lit for us, top service!
Tasty breakfast with Flemish pancakes.
Negatives · The heating of the room can not make it really warm, but we were there in the winter

Clean, very friendly staff, large rooms with backyard, lovely interiour, tasty breakfast. I'd definitely recommend this wonderful and well-operated place near Franschhoek. In the small lobby, they also offer a small selection of toys for children.

The most stunning views, on oasis of peace and tranquility and the warmest and most delightful welcoming treatment. The perfect ingredient for a well-deserved, unforgettable family holiday at Droom. We thoroughly enjoyed the exquisite glasses (or rather bottles) of South African wine by the refreshing pool. Thank you oh so much for this splendid experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Best B&B ever. We had a fantastic time. Very clean and spacious bedrooms, fancy and modern bathroom. Super friendly personnel. Nice garden and swimmong pool, in a beautiful environment, in the vineyards surrounded by the mountains. The breakfast was superb. Very large assortment, fresh fruit, read, yoghurt, granola, pancakes, other specialties on the buffet. On top of that you can order eggs or belgian dishes.
We rate 4,5 stars.

What a rare gem of a guesthouse in picturesque Franschhoek. Extremely friendly staff from cleaners to management. If you want 5 star treatment look no further. Rooms tastefully decorated, modern and very clean. Be sure to get tips from front desk staff of places to visit and eat. The owner Kathleen was extremely friendly it was our pleasure and privilege to meet her!

Myself, husband and 2 kids booked a few nights at Droom Guesthouse.
We had a couples massage outside under the trees, it was so tranquil. Definitely The Best ever!!!
The kids spent their time in the swimming pool, while mom and dad spent time in the hot tub :)
The rooms are clean and the bedding crisp.
Droom will certainly see us again!!
