My cousin and I have just spent 3 glorious days at the Maison du Cap. I cannot think of ANYTHING negative to say!!! The rooms were soooo delightful. The cost great and as for the breakfast - WOW!! Most important the 4 ladies who looked after us were all so wonderful, warm and friendly. Don’t stay anywhere else! Thank you Milliscent, Diana, Charnelle and Christine!!!

We came on short notice for an entire weekend and enjoyed the modern style of the place. Since the weather was a bit wintery, we enjoyed the nice fireplace with a glass of wine and a good book in hand. Breakfast was great and the staff was super friendly! Definitely, we will come back. Thank you team!

Loved the style of the property, modern but still homely and great attention to detail. We went during Winter and really appreciated the wood log fireplace with our afternoon cakes. Millicent and her team were very helpful and friendly. They made our honeymoon stay really special, which we appreciated! The decor was amazing. We loved the stay!

Amazing place in the heart of Franschhoek. The little boxes of treats on the children’s beds were a wonderful surprise. The room was very modern and clean. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to use the pool, but it looked idyllic. Breakfast was amazing. You’d never believe they prepared it fresh during load shedding. The French toast was delicious and huge! Parking available onsite. Highly recommend!

From start to finish we couldn’t have asked for more. Lovely rooms, lots of really nice touches and extras, great service from Millicent and her team, an extensive breakfast, a roaring wood fire, and ample parking. It’s a shame that the weather was so rubbish, otherwise we would have made use of the pool and outside areas. Very highly recommended.

Quaint guesthouse beautifully done. Huge rooms and bathrooms. Very comfy beds. The receptionist and all the ladies are so so lovely. The breakfast was devine. It felt like u were visiting a family friend we felt so at home. The fire in the dining /entrance is a lovely touch. Close to everything. Special touches like the bottle of wine in your room and the make up removal cloth adds that extra something! Can highly recommend!

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at Maison du Cap during March and we were very impressed by the Team (Busi, Molly, Sam & Diane), managed by the wonderful Millicent, who together truly exceed all expectations to make sure every aspect of your stay is simply perfect! The Hotel is perfectly situated just around the corner (off the Main Road) near the ABSA Bank in Franschhoek, which makes evening trips to bars and restaurants just a short walk and very convenient. The 4 rooms are tastefully decorated in unique styles and are spacious and comfortable. There is also a larger family room to the rear of the main property, surrounded by lovely well kept gardens (well done Sam!) and the wonderfully tranquil and peaceful pool area to the rear. The pool is particularly lovely to return to after a busy morning browsing the many boutique shops on Franschhoek's Main Street followed by a delicious lunch at one of the 30+ restaurants and numerous Vineyards you can explore in Franschhoek (MIKO, at the Stunning Mont Rochelle, is one of our favourites!). We were really impressed by the variety of the fresh local produce offered during each Breakfast Buffet, next to a live roaring and crackling fire (on cold days only!) which is followed by a fabulous Menu for cooked breakfasts, which are delicious and prepared in no time by the wonderful Team! Examples were the variety of cereal, including granola, healthy nuts, fruit pots, 2 variety yoghurts, good quality ham and cheeses, croissants, sourdough bread, fresh original juices, delicious muffins, and jam & honey preserves. Afternoon freshly baked cake is served on a 'help yourself' basis - Millicent could, quite simply, open her own bakery, such was the exceptional standard of her cake making. We were fortunate to enjoy her Lemon Drizzle & Chocolate cakes during our stay! We have stayed in Franschhoek many times over the years, trying different types of accommodation, but we were so impressed with Maison du Cap that we have already booked to return next year! Thank You to each of the exceptional Team who work so cohesively to truly make all the difference to this fabulous and charming Boutique Hotel.…

We had a beautiful 2 night stay at Maison du Cap (too short, of course)! Annamaria and her staff were amazing; very attentive and helpful. Breakfast is a masterpiece and the afternoon lemon-poppy seed cake is most delicious. The room has a door right off the pool with very easy access to town and all the wineries in the region. We are so sad to leave today! Thank you for everything!

We absolutely loved this beautiful guest house situated just off the main street of Franschhoek and within walking distance of restaurants and the wine tram terminal. Room opened out to the garden/terrace/pool. The housekeeping and hosting skills of the "team" were excellent. Breakfast served either outside in patio garden or inside. Good choices for freshly cooked hot dishes. Beautifully furnished interiors. Parking for all outside

We had an amazing weekend at Maisonette du Cap. The Cottage, with its 2 double beds, lounge area, magnificent mountain views, and outside courtyard, was a perfect room for a girls night away. The guest house has great facilities for both summer (most rooms open onto the pool), and winter (beautiful indoor and outdoor fireplaces), all within close walking distance to the high street. Thank you to Maleficent and her team, for taking such good care of us and all the attention to detail. We will definitely be back.
