Great place to stay while visiting Franschoek! It's just off the main street so it's quiet but within a short walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The owners are very friendly and helpful - made us feel very welcomed from the first moment, provided excellent recommendations and really helped us organize our visit to this beautiful area.
We stayed in the queen room which is very comfortable and well equipped, with direct access to the quiet patio where we could have our morning coffee in the open air. There is also a gated parking on site where we could park our car without worrying about anything.

Alta and Addy's place is a lovely, cosy place set in a beautiful garden - our bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was huge with a lovely large shower. Wonderful, hospitable hosts who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. A huge bonus was the delicious freshly baked muffins we received each afternoon - a real treat! Only 1 street back from the main street with it's many restaurants and shops, they are perfectly located. Highly recommended!

It's near the center of the town with cafes, restaurants and shops in walking distance. Wine Tram station is in 5-10 minutes walk. Nice rustic style room, great hosts giving you muffins every morning. Check-in and check-out is really easy. We loved staying there.

While our stay was short, it was absolutely sweet. Alta was a gem, taking care of us from the moment we checked in to make sure we didn't miss our Wine Tram booking.
The place was beautifully kept, comfortable and welcoming. It's close to the Tram line, within walking distance of the last stop on the Blue Line in fact, and one street back from the town center. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

One draw back is that the road our room faced onto was a bit noisy because it links with some of the wine farms. That said, I'd still stay here again given how incredible everything else was.

We had a 2 night stay at this beautiful self catering Guest House. Affordable, clean, spacious, enough parking, and lovely warm water in the shower. Had freshly baked muffins put out for us every morning. This property is perfectly situated close to everything in Franschhoek. Walking distance to the main street. Felt safe sleeping at night. Will definitely be back!!

"I don't think there's much call between the rooms, but I'll give some tips on the locality. Going to Dieudonné for sunset drinks is a must. Also, you'll ask yourself why would I go to South Africa to go to a motor museum? The answer is that Franschhoek Motor Museum is as good as I've seen, so if you have some time it's woth the visit."
