Klein Waterval is a relaxed getaway situated on a wine farm just outside of Franschhoek. Ezna took great care of us, suggesting (and booking) restaurants to visit and ensuring that we were comfortable throughout our stay. We particularly enjoyed breakfasts on the outside verandah. Guests have access to the main area in the evenings where a fire is left roaring in the lounge area, music is playing in the background and guests can enjoy a drink from the honesty bar. This was a lovely, generous touch which made this spot extra-special in my opinion.

This lodge is situated a few kms outside of Franschhoek with beautiful views of the mountains. The rooms are spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable, with a nice veranda. Aircon , TV and wifi are included. The breakfasts are really enjoyable and set you up nicely for a day of wine tasting. Ezna is an absolute gem and she can't do enough to ensure that your stay is the best it can be! We stayed 5 nights and it wasn't long enough. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ideally situated between Franschhoek and Stellenbosch for day trips in either direction. We enjoyed 3 nights under the thatched roof of our accomodation, surrounded by lavender and grapes, before waking for a great breakfast. Ezna and his team are very dedicated hosts with lots of advise for what to do in the area.

Perfect location, it is very close to the wintram-start, you wake up in a very good bed to beautiful views and from the pool you keep looking out on them, the staff is super friendly and caring and they make a very good breakfast :).
