A wonderful place to stay and it is a must to pass through this park on your way to Ais Ais in Namibia, roads on the Namibian side mostly gravel. The Kgalagadi is known for it lions and you will surely enjoy and see lions...More
Good campsite that can be rather dusty in the wind. Limited shady spots. Good and clean ablutions. Wonderful ambiance. Tar road all the way from Upington. The roads in the park are not really conducive to sedan vehicles, but can make it at a push
Quite spacious rooms with single beds. The bathroom was in need of renovation. There is power for 24 hours.
Meals at the restaurant were average but filling. Wifi was expensive we did not use it.

Camped for two nights with extended family. The bathroom facilities are very neat and clean. Only gravel or sand camping spots but most have good shading. Very pleasant stay, hope to visit again. Convenient shop on premises and also a pool.

Stock up on fresh fruit and vegetables in Upington. Diesel available at Twee Rivieren and Mata Mata but petrol only at Mata Mata.You can fill up at Askham 74km from Twee Rivieren. No shop or filling station at Kalahari Tented camp but it is about 5km from Mata Mata.
