This is possibly the best place to start if you're thinking of going on a trip to the park. Right at the main entrance to the gate, it has the most well equipped shop in the park with all the essentials (including ice cream!!). It also has a pool and a station to fill up on fuel. The camp sites...

This rest camp is a few hundred meters from the main Twee Rivieren entrance gate to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. The camping area has comfortable ablutions with a coin operated laundry. The sites itself doesn't have a lot of shade and the ground is quite hard to get tent pegs in, but does have electricity, water, braai and dustbin. It...

We stayed in a family unit nr 18 near the campsites and restaurant. Well equipped kitchen. Two beds in kitchen area and other two in bedroom. If you are two couples it is a bit uncomfortable because you have to go through the bedroom to the bathroom if you end up sleeping in die kitchen area. Aircon only in the...

The chalet (12) we had was a four sleeper. It seems that they have squeezed in two extra beds into the kitchen / dining area and squeezed the dining table into the bedroom. The camp is on the edge of the park and not actually in the park. Note that the tap water is very salty. We only realised this...

When you pay a lot for a camp site, it is justified to expect something in return. Let me start by saying that the bathrooms are adequite and clean, the camp site is kept clean and the restaurant and shop are adequate. We really enjoyed our stay. But, there is no control of storm water and all the water from...

Very nice campsite. Typically Sanparks standards. We camped early October but was quite chilly at night. Remember to be on the lookout for scorpions at night. Roads can be bad, so a SUV or Pick up is more suited to the gravel roads. All facilities are well maintained and regularly cleaned etc...

This was our first visit to KTP and was no doubt making us visit again. The rooms in the restcamp were clean and well equipped. The staff was also very welcoming and helped us with the directions, safaris and other relevant details required for first timers. The rooms are maintained and cleaned everyday. The chalets have 24*7 electricity, which made...

The chalets are your typical SANPARK style, but are well equipped. Ther eis aircon on the main area and the kitchen has a microwave, 2-plate s and full size fridge/freezer. It has all the equipment you would need. The shop is well stocked, so you can get most of your basic goods there. The chalets are all thatch roof and...

Chalet was good and comfortable with full cooking facilities and comfortable bed. Air conditioning was good and the Insect proofing was excellent. Well stocked shop and interesting surrounds, had good views of cheetahs for instances.

Excellent accommodation with all amenities. Staff friendly and welcoming. Our original booking for a family cottage could not be provided due to a plumbing problem. We were notified about this before our arrival and were given two adjacent smaller chalets which suited us perfectly. Management checked to see if we were happy and satisfied and apologised for the change which...
