Detailed Reviews

Booking in for the stay very friendly reception, explain everything where to park and about the town, our room no 17 faces the sea but there is a building in front of you but you can hear the sea, access to the beach is about 50 m away direct from the apartment. The apartment is well laid out, and clean with FREE WIFI a big plus. With any place, there will be things wrong but these will need attention, The ovens plates are rusty, the kettle is rusted and the lid is broken, in the main bedroom the whole socket is loose and safety risk, the tiles down the steps from the apartment is broken and safety risk. The cleaning staff early in the morning is very loud but one can live with it.

We have stayed here in 2022 and again in 2023 - we love the sea view and location of Seashells Accommodation in J/Bay. The service is always excellent. What a fantastic holiday. The staff is always helpful and friendly and there is also drycleaning facilities on the premises. A one stop holiday accommodation. Superb value for money.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for an overnight stay. I only wish we had scheduled longer! The accomodation was very large, well equipped and spotlessly clean, and offered far in excess of what I was expecting for the price. The location is excellent, with secure parking provided. Shops, bars and restaurants are close by. The beachfront cafe was a great spot for breakfast.
I will return with family for a longer stay in the future. Thanks to the team for an excellent stay.

We booked a two bedroom apartment for one night then decided to stay an extra night and moved to a three bedroom apartment as that was all that was available. Both apartments were really fantastic. The views from the top floor (3 bedroom) were stunning of the sea and beach. Both apartments were very well appointed. The beds comfortable and the showers hot and strong. We were given a rechargeable light for loadshedding. Re he cafe on the beach was a great place for breakfast and there was a pharmacy, supermarket and cafes within 2-5 minutes walking distance. The staff on 24 hr reception were incredibly polite and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

I love to stay at Seashells, it is walking distance to all our needs and surf break is on the doorstep. Very well furnished and has everything you need in the kitchen. Hospitality is amazing and we were well looked after. Clients rated it as the best one of the trip, especially the view from balcony. Thank you Seashells for the great stay. Looking forward to the next swell for another visit.

Seashells Holiday accommodation is a well maintained resort in the centre of Jeffreys Bay. It is comfortly situated at the beach, walking distance from many excellent restaurants and shops. The staff and management is helpful and friendly and always willing to go the extra mile.

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Seashells. The only 2 suggestions I have is perhaps placing kitchen cloths in the kitchen and also wipe down the outside chairs. Other than that it was great!! I will definitely recommend The Seashells to anyone looking for a beach apartment.

We had a very spacious apartment with a sea view. The reception was open 24 hours a day. Secured parking. The highlight for us was breakfast in the hotel's own Strandloper Cafe right by the sea, where the children played on the beach.

We arrived on Wednesday, only to be met with incessant construction noise that persisted until 5 pm. Thursday morning greeted us with more banging and drilling at 8:10 am. When I inquired about the construction with a blonde lady at the front desk, she attributed it to the recent heavy rains over the past few months. While I can appreciate weather-related challenges, my frustration stems from the fact that I made my booking just three days prior to our arrival, implying that the management was aware of the ongoing construction. Ideally, reservations should have been put on hold until the construction was completed.
The blonde lady graciously moved us to a better apartment for Thursday evening, assuring us that the noise had ceased. Unfortunately, this was not the case, as the banging resumed on Friday morning at 7:50 am. I had paid a significant amount for this two-night stay, and considering that I reside in the Middle East, all I had wanted was to light a fire on the stoep and enjoy its breathtaking view – the primary reason for choosing your establishment. However, the oven was non-functional, and the lamps were broken. While the apartment was indeed spacious, these are the only positive aspects I can highlight.
The experience left me truly disheartened. We were all profoundly frustrated by the early morning disturbances on Friday, feeling as though we were in the midst of a construction site. Ultimately, we decided to cut our stay short and check out prematurely.
The view was great but I'd recommend you book on the top floor (second floor).
The apartment was really spacious and the TV had some great channels to watch.
Braai facilities were great but we couldn't use it due to the noise.
