Wow! What a lovely stay at The Ocean Bay. We had the best time, from the friendly staff to the amazing pool. The host Kirsten was very helpful and always suggested very good local restaurants to us. The room we stayed in was nice and big with a spectacular view and very big bed. There was a TV and coffee station. We really had a good time and will definitely recommend it.
For the time of the WSL we booked ourselves into the ocean bay guest house in Jeffreys bay. We were supposed to spend 2 nights in one of the rooms they do offer. What looked as a lovely place online turned out to be the biggest nightmare in life. We stayed in the apartment on the ground floor. During the first night we got robbed. All our electronic devices and jewellery were stolen. When we checked in we asked the German owner if this place would be safe and we were told its a very safe place and all we have to do is to lock the doors and it would be fine. As the place did not have a big safe we were only able to place our passports in it and our credit cards. When we woke up in the middle of the night we realised we were robbed. Somehow the criminals managed to come into…
We absolutely loved the place! Everything was perfect! Clean, spacious room with breathtaking view over the ocean. Very tasty and luxurious breakfast served in the beautiful garden pavilion. There is a nice pool also. The owner Kirsten is a lovely host that put a lot of her time and effort to make our stay interesting. She recommended and booked great restaurants and activities for us. Jeffrey’s Bay is a hidden gem on the garden route. Anna and Wulf
Ocean Bay is such a wonderful guesthouse. Rooms are cosy and beautiful! Breakfast is the best. It is in a quiet part of Jeffreys. Kirsten is such a lovely lady and she makes you feel at home! The view is beautiful from every room.
After a long journey for everyone from our team we were greeted with coffee and biscuits with a warm German-South-African welcome. After taking in the breathtaking view over the ocean bay from the terrace, we were brought to our rooms which all had a just as stunning view. With our team of 5 people we were able to get an insight into each of the 5 individually furnished and shaped rooms of the Ocean Bay. We couldn't really decide which was the nicest one, as all of them were just extremly spacious and cosy. Also each of them is located in a way to secure your privacy and the possibility to seclude yourself, hearing nothing but some birds chirping. Super comfortable beds, big bath rooms, good working wifi (very important for us ;-) ) and such a great hospitality. What else could…
