What a beautiful guest house and one that lives up to its name.
Prepare to be wowed.
Kirsten welcomed us into her lovely home. The views are absolutely stunning.
We stayed in The gorgeous SEASHELL SUITE. Amazing bed, lovely bathroom with a great shower, super kitchenette, everything top quality.
You can see the love that has gone into the room. It’s beautiful. The garden is a delight. The gardener very welcoming.
The infinity pool has to be one of the best in South Africa. Stunning. It had rained one morning and the lady came with a mattress when she saw I wanted to use the pool.
The breakfast was amazing. Fresh homemade bread was still warm from the oven. The breakfast was the best of a month of breakfasts.
The staff were all superb. Absolutely the sweetest and most caring. Tino was amazing.
Very peaceful. Thank you for a wonderful time.

This was our second stay with Kirsten at the Ocean Bay over the December period and will definitely not be our last! It is like a home from home but with complete luxury added in. Exceptional in every way. We extended our stay on both occasions as we just did not want to leave.
The infinity pool overlooks the sea and the large, lush gardens make a tranquil and relaxing setting. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the bed so comfy and the shower perfect. We had many braai's sitting on our room's private balcony overlooking the sea under the night sky.
You have everything you need on arrival but Kirsten goes further than above and beyond to ensure your every want is met. We were even given Christmas decorations for our room!
The area is completely safe and a short walk to the beach. If you are looking for a luxurious, pampered and relaxed time by the sea, this is the place to stay. On this trip, some of our family joined us last minute for a few days to see what we were raving about, the little ones had the best time. The kloof and boma area creates a beautiful ambience in the evening. It is the perfect setting for a family, corporate or wedding event.
Covid safety was addressed optimally but did not hamper the amazing holiday experience. As someone with sensitive eyes I was happy that the pool is so well maintained and clean that I had no red eye issues and could spend all day in it.
Do not be fooled by the reasonable rates, this truly is a piece of heaven. I am so sad writing this review because I wish I was there now!

Unfortunately, we only had one night in this very nice accommodation. Even though the complex looks a little uninviting from the outside, behind it there is a great park with a large swimming pool and a unique view of the bay. The breakfast with home-made bread and cake was also very good. Kirsten turned out to be a perfect host and made good recommendations for the surrounding area. Definitely a highly recommended stop.

Friendly and accommodating stay. Kirsten was a great host and Elliot the cleaner, what a friendly and helpful person. The pool is nice to relax after a beach day. It has a lapa to have a braai and enjoy the view. It is not d as soundproof and with some loud tenants it may be noisy

My kids and I stayed for one night over the weekend of the TransBavaiaans race. The place was clean and well equipped. My kids loved the loft bed and we all enjoyed the breakfast. We would love to return in summer when we can take advantage of the beautiful outside area.

All my expectations of the guesthouse were fully met. Kirsten is such a sweet host who can easily become friends with her guests, I felt at home, I was sad we only spent one night as we were in our way back home. I would have loved to spend time at the guesthouse and also get to know Kirsten a bit better. The pool was definitely my highlight. This place is honestly superb, I hope to come back in the near future

What a view! The staff was very friendly and service was great. While we stayed the host advised us about amazing local restaurants and activities. Would definitely recommend this guesthouse to other couples looking for a romantic getaway. Lives up to its four stars!
