Pros: Great location, clean and comfortable rooms, use of Aztec/American Safari facilities, reasonable rates. Cons: Tiny shower, front rooms would benefit from air conditioning. If you need more than a motel room or efficiency unit, the Buttercup Suites has you covered. Because it's owned by the same folks as the Aztec and American Safari on the next block, you get the same friendly and reliable service as well as use of their two pools. Our unit had two bedrooms (each with a queen bed) as well as a living room with a fold-out bed- perfect for our group. There was also a kitchenette with a full-sized fridge- a welcome touch. The bathroom had been recently remodeled, but that didn't remedy the small shower. It's probably worth noting there isn't a tub, as is the case in most Wildwood motel rooms. It's also worth noting the building only has four units, so it's very quiet. The beds were comfortable, parking was easy (each unit has two assigned spaces), and the location close to the beach and boardwalk couldn't be any better. Despite the spacious accommodations, rates were very reasonable (something common to its sister properties, which is one of the reasons why we love them). Complaints are minor, like window blinds that don't do a great job of blocking the morning sun, and a living room (third bedroom) that would benefit from another air conditioning unit (the two bedrooms had small window units that don't do much for the one room without A/C). It's far from the most luxurious place on the island, but Buttercup works well if you need space to spread out.

This was our second time staying at the buttercup suites! We stayed in suite E... The apartment was immaculate! Extremely clean! Buttercup suites has everything you need to have a great time. We loved the grill and seating area outside! The only thing our group could agree on that we didn't like was the shower head inside of the stand up shower. It was rough and sprayed water everywhere. Besides that we had an amazing time! Looking forward to next years vacation!

This was our second time staying with this family of hotels, having previously stayed at The Aztec for a quick getaway. Prices far more than reasonable, immaculate accommodations, spacious suites, quiet area, close to restaurants and attractions, and of course, the beach. Not a single issue during a 7-day stay. Access to three different swimming pools (all of which are warm and inviting), coffee and cookies every morning, friendly staff, a real family place! Can't wait to book for next year.

This is a nice place to stay .Very clean I loved the wood floors and Queen beds. Lots of storage space closets dressers Cute kitchen .Bathroom was very nice but shower stall in very small. We went to the 3 different pools all were warm and not crowded. Staff was very friendly and cleaning people were great! We would stay again. Close to the boardwalk and beach. They offer coffee and cookies in the morning. The WIFI dropped a lot but we were there when they had a soccer tournament lots of kids there.
