My sisters and I had the 3 Ocean Front rooms, 216, 217 & 218. The view was beautiful and the rooms were clean. The only thing is they need to be updated and our room (216) was not updated in relation to my sisters rooms. There is no light under the kitchen sink area, the thermostat was confusing because it felt cool in the bathroom but the rest of the room was not as cool. We tried to turn it down but there was a message saying if we turned it down below 70 the unit would shut off. In the bathroom sinks was no sink stopper so things could drop down the drain and the whole bathroom definitely needs updating. We also would have liked a comforter on the beds, they only had a sheet and blanket but the mattress was comfortable. We will be back because it is a good place to stay with family although may pick another room.

Pros Location: Acacia is right on the beach with easy access. Unlike most NJ beaches, there is no charge, no beach tag required. The hotel is also at the souther end of Wildwood Crest, which is much more quiet snd quaint. Great access to Cape May. The beach: clean and well maintained. The beach has an enormous sand bar, and waves break at all intervals, which makes it great for body surfing. It’s good for small children to walk crawl into low water. But really have to go far off the beach to swim. The rooms: the rooms must have been updated recently with new hardwood floors. The kitchenette was very useful with a full fridge, two electric burners, sink and microwave. Supermarkets are a short ride away. The bathroom was a little dated but clean and functional. The pool: It’s small but heated and cleaned every morning. Great for little kids and adults to lounge around. The deck: A nice second-story deck near the beach offered great views and a place to eat a meal. The staff: Not a lot of interaction but solid. Cons The “resort”: It’snot a resort. There are no activities, no restaurant, no bar. They don’t even provide you with pool/beach towels. Bring your own. The bathroom towels are too flimsy. There is plenty to do away from Acacia and we were fine with that. The bedroom: It was poorly ventilated, prone to stuffiness, not a lot of AC and a window that doesn’t open. The bed: If you like an extra, extra firm mattress, this place is for you. But it felt like a wood plank to me. One of the more uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept on. The pool deck: not enough lounge chairs to accommodate guests. Little can be done since space is so small. Laundry facility: Washer and dryers are well past their expiration date. Clothes still damp after run through dryer. Overall: A great place for a no-frills family trip down the shore. It’s not a resort, but Acacia is well maintained and in an excellent location for a beach vacation. We would return. But I may bring an air mattress.

We had a horrible experience at another motel and walked in hoping they had a vacancy. Luckily, they had a cancellation and was able to accommodate our family within the hour. Evelina at the front desk was lovely and very helpful. We had an efficiency suite which was clean and spacious. Bathrooms were immaculate. There were laundry facilities on the second and thirds floors and ample parking. The only suggestion would be to have hooks on the bathroom doors to hang towels or toiletries.

This was our first time at this location but we will definitely be back! The resort was very clean and the staff was helpful and attentive. Heated pool and the bbq grills were a nice surprise. The resort is located right next to the beach: the only thing that divided the beach from the pool was the hotel’s fans. Premium location for relaxation and family friendly stay.

Excellent choice. Extremely close to the beach. Very good restaurants close by. Very Quiet, excellent service and very comfortable beds! Definitely a place to return to. Very family oriented. Parking is a little tight but manageable.
