good location near beach, pool and hot tub were also good Downside was room no counter top space in bathroom, toilet paper roll is mounted a few inches off the floor on your left and behind you internet access is spotty in the room and there aren’t enough outlets for a device heavy family- which could be solved with a power strip or two rather than renovating the electrical service. Final insult, after paying close to $300 per night, they charge you for ice from their ice machine, never even heard of it and was really annoyed to have to trek back to my room to scrounge up a quarter. not in a hurry to return.
The aqua Beach hotel was in a great location to the beach, restaurants, and board walk quieter area. Because of Covid protocols they were not offering full house keeping so the room got very messy and sandy. The floors in the room are tile so they were extra slippery with sand and little toddler feet. My daughter kept slipping and hitting her head! The shower pressure was terrible so any sand that came off in the shower needed to be hand cleaned out of the shower because pressure was so poor. I asked one of the house keepers to come in and vacuum one day two times and it didn't look like anything was done. Other then that we had a good stay. It was helpful to have a bagel Cafe right at the hotel for easy breakfast options.
As far as beach hotels go I would definitely recommend this hotel! The location is perfect rooms and are clean. My only critique would be trying to find the maid to get more towels is difficult and it would’ve been nice to be able to park there the day we checked out to go on the beach but they said they were sold out. I understand though that places are very understaffed and hotels are packed this year but I never had that said to me at other hotels. We would definitely come back though!
Exceptionally clean. Our third time staying here In oceanfront room. The largo room is great! Staff is constantly cleaning and I like that they wash their own towels as they don’t have that chemical feel from linen services. Great view of ocean and shower water pressure is great. The room does have a curtain room divider and you will need it as the blinds aren’t sufficient in keeping out the morning sun. I would suggest the owners tint the windows or install room darkening shades. Also, the parking situation here is pretty bad. I will still return.
First visit. Enjoyed the stay. Rooms clean. Stove top (two ring) worked fine for us. Good size fridge and freezer. Roof top great place to hang out in late afternoon early evening, and to watch fireworks. All in all very good. TV reception was poor (turned on first night) but we don’t watch much so just never turned on again. Our room faced the beach (great), but blinds are inadequate for keeping our morning sun. This may bother some people.
