Nice decor and updates to bathrooms. AC worked well. Beyond that, it's a noisy Wildwood hotel. Pool is tiny, parking is crowded. Brown bag offered for breakfast. While room was "clean" - There was hair on the floor and on some of the linens. Pillows were like bricks. Not worth the $250/nt we paid. Won't go back.

Staying for two nights in February 2021. Excellent Covid safety protocols, clean, & modern design (with very nice, wide parking spaces--which is unusual in Wildwood), but you *HEAR everything in the rooms on either side of your room. All night, I heard a couple in the room next door. First thing in the morning, in the room on the *other side -- a fitness instructor was leading a zoom dance/workout class. Yes, you could hear her (being obnoxiously loud) through the walls, but you also FELT THE FLOOR SHAKE. I feel bad for the people who are on the first floor. They had coffee in the lobby and it was actually really good. They also offered breakfasts to go (for Covid safety), which included an apple, two granola bars, and a bottle of water -- all in a paper bag. That was a nice bonus that I wasn't expecting. Bed was super supportive & comfy. LOTS of pillows (yay!) and wood laminate floors in the rooms. Overall, I'd stay here again if the price was right. Next time, I'll ask for a room that's not near anyone else -- if at all possible.

Some of the reviews seem to be about Wildwood and not the hotel. Wildwood is a cheap vacation spot that attracts tons of families with small children with a plethora of cheap motels. That is Wildwood. And, honestly, the town seems much cleaner and fixed up than it was 15 years ago. I am assuming, though, that you intend on going to Wildwood. This hotel seemed to be a cheap motel that was purchased and completely gutted. New flooring, tiles, painting, counters and furniture. It is stylish and modern. Everything was clean. We had no concerns with the check in staff who I think may have been the husband and wife owners. The morning staff (who may have been their teenage son) seemed like he was half asleep and didn't want to be there. He reminded me out what my 16-year-olds son would be like if I got him out of bed at 7:00 am on a Sunday. Still, he was pleasant despite being barely awake. The parking is truly awful and one major downfall. It is cramped on the street level of the hotel and not adequate. Even with the hotel partially filled, people were parked in and there were not enough spots for all the people staying there. We were up early and went for breakfast but noted that many others wouldn't have been able to get their cat out without several others leaving. It is a problem, but not sure how the owners could possibly fix it. At the end of the day, it isn't a $400 room. We paid $80 and you usually don't get much for$80. This exceeded our expectations.

For a hotel that is about a year old and visiting during a pandemic gripping the nation, I have no real complaints about the hotel. One reviewer mentioned about the paper thin walls and narrow hallways, they are both true, but I have to say the staff, especially the gentleman at the front desk was as nice as can be. Very sociable and friendly. I didn't get to experience the continental breakfast due to the Covid-19 nor get to have any coffee makers in the room either but they assured they will return as soon as restrictions are lifted. The hotel is only a block from the boardwalk which makes it very nice to walk to it and the beach. I also discovered the hotel sits on the former location of the Wildwood Diner which I went to as a kid with my parents. I am not sure what happened to the other reviewers for this hotel, but I had a pleasant stay in a nice modern room with hardwood floors. The only thing about the room I didn't like was the desk chair was an odd design with no real back to lean back and relax in, but that was it. Also there are no tubs, just walk-in showers (which is fine for me, but not for my 4-year old granddaughter who likes baths) but that is just minor quibbles.

They allowed people to smoke pot in rooms lol day and night, the halls reeked. The lobby was dirty and the room was very dusty. Got awaken at midnight due to fire alarm from other guests smoking. Front desk was not helpful. Overpriced, very disappointed, they should refund for such a terrible 2 nights.
