This was our first time staying at a B & B and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Our room and the common areas were beautiful, clean, and tastefully decorated with a quaint but spacious feel to it. Our hosts, Jason and Maryanne couldn't have been more friendly and helpful without being intrusive and their specials for breakfast were delicious, those muffins, mmm, so fresh. The whole experience was relaxing and tranquil. Newton and the area around it is beautiful with state parks nearby and we look forward to coming back here often.

Property's Favourite Review
I absolutely loved it at The Wooden Duck B&B. The place is so warm, inviting, peaceful, & beautiful. The pool area, with it's accented garden, was perfect for relaxing and winding down. Our room was cozy and I was able to get some great sleep. The breakfast was so tasty and can tell they put the hearts into it. The owners were so accommodating, warm, and friendly. Loved it here. Definitely will come back.

I highly recommend the Wooden Duck B&B. My husband and I had a short getaway in this perfect setting and totally enjoyed ourselves. We loved having breakfast by the bird feeders, which was just enhanced by the deliciousness of the breakfast! The room was clean and beautifully decorated. The setting was quiet and peaceful. Honestly, it was a perfect place to be. Your every need will be met. We hope to return in the future.

This is a beautiful B&B in the “garden state” part of NJ. Favorite things: 1) Pool area with beautiful visitors—a lot of hummingbirds and other birds. 2) Charging stations for your plug-in car! 3) Wonderful breakfasts, cookies, available drinks and amenities 4) Kind owners willing to go the extra mile (they really helped me out when I got a flat tire). 5) Nice rooms and beautiful property… trails etc. 6) They were very thoughtful about health and safety in these Coronavirus times. This was very important to us, (especially because I was traveling with my 85 yo father). 7) They were very responsive via email, phone, or text before, during, and after our visit! I would definitely visit again.

Highly recommend the Wooden Duck B&B. Very clean and spacious rooms. All the COVID protocols and precautions were taken. The entire B&B was nothing short of a Christmas wonderland (when we visited in December). The owners were very friendly and the breakfast was just too good. Would definitely visit just for the food. Great location with the scenic stables nearby and state parks perfect for hiking.
