Great location! Beautiful modern, clean room. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great indoor and outdoor heated pool. Restaurant right on the premises serving all day long. We had a wonderful visit. However, next time will ask for a balcony room away from the AC units.

My husband has stage 4 cancer so on the few occasions we are able to travel we always get the “upgraded” room. Such was the case at the Grand hotel. We got the ocean view room which boasts “ocean views and semi private balconies” We have a view of the parking lot. The balcony isn’t even close to being semi private. When we discussed this with the front desk, we were told if we go on the balcony the ocean is to the side. We stated this is false advertising, they said a manager would contact us, they never did

I booked a room with this hotel a few months ago for a two night stay. Check-in is at 4PM. I arrived at 4:05PM but after taking my credit card and charging me over $600 for two nights I was told my room wasn't ready. I was told it was being "inspected". What this means is that your room is being cleaned. Not inspected. After an hour of waiting I went to the front desk and asked what the problem was. Are they "inspecting" the pipes or something. Magically, after I inquired at the front desk, I received a text saying my room was ready. They lie. The room isn't that much to brag about either. The bedroom door wouldn't stay open. I had to prop it open with a lamp. The view I had was of a balcony with lounge chairs and astro turf, with no view at all except of everyone walking by your room like it's a boardwalk. So much for privacy and quiet. I've stayed at this hotel before and had a great stay. This one is much different. It stinks.

Let me start by saying we are from Atlanta and are a hard group to please as a whole as most of us have been in the service industry and know what great service is. Our son Jaymes was married here tonight and the wedding was FLAWLESS. I just wanted to take the time to recognize and say thank you to all the amazing staff members that made this weekend and wedding so special. Thank you to the front desk staff Alena, Samantha, Noel and Paul for answering all our questions and requests always with a smile. Thank you to the house keeping for having all rooms and common areas spotless. I’m so sorry I do not have all of house keepings names but all of you are rock stars! Thank you to the kitchen staff for making killer food! Thank you to Grace my favorite and all the other servers who did an outstanding job. Thank you to Chip our bartender for the amazing service and attention to detail. Last but not least thank you to Katlyn the wedding planner for Ensuring the wedding went flawlessly. For anyone considering a wedding or special event at the Grand just know that their staff is the best group as a whole that I have come across yet. Thank you as these will be memories that we will cherish for a lifetime.
